If you already have more than 10000 honorable kills at the launch of WotLK you will have this achievement completed when you log in after the release of WotLK as well as any other honor kill achievements you have more honor kills than the objective.

heh. got this on my shadow priest a while back. Being a priest (totally unlike my rogue xD), people tend to crowd around you, so Mind Flay away, throw DoTs on everything that moves, bubble up and Dispel those funky guys, and...when in doubt...Fear Bomb the place! I originally made that priest a full-holy, to make up for all the failure Alliance guys who yelled "HEALS" and had their prayers unanswered, as well as the flag carriers that dropped like flies.....although it was fun while it lasted, Holy = no survivability. To earn an Honorable Kill, you must be flagged for PvP and in the area/ taking part in killing a member of the oppostie faction (healers need not worry about tagging a player to still recieve creit for the honorable kill). Regardless of server type (PvP/RP) you can flag for PvP with the /pvp command. Honorable Kill achievements can be earned while out in the world or in PvP "zones" such as battlegrounds. For each Kill achievement, the appropriate number of kills will be needed: 1, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000, 25000, 50000, 100000, 250000.

This is a series of achievements.

Achievements up to and including 10.000 Honorable Kills are individual character achievements.
Achievements after and including 25.000 Honorable Kills are account wide.
Progress for account wide progress can be tracked with this macro:

/script AddTrackedAchievement("5363")

If you have already earned the 25.000 Honorable Kill achievement on one character, you will not get the pop up for a second one again.

If you have less than 25k total kills you might be confused why you are missing the previous achievements, thinking they should be tracked account wide too, but they are individual achievements. This is working as intended it seems and took me some time to wrap my head around it. It is for example possible to get the 25k achievement, without ever getting the 5k achievement, if the kills are spread out over multiple toons / twinks.
