I agree with the statement Legion is the easiest and hardest xpac to be a new goblin. There’s lots of opportunities - you can put enchanting up with just about anything. For my main I paired it with blacksmithing for solid results, but the big profit centre for me has been buying demonsteel mats low and the steel itself for a significant profit. That at the mats required for top end feasts that can be purchased from NPCs is literally free money that Blizz wants us to have.
I'm so excited about this expansion, everything looks so nice and the new allied races look amazing. And I really don't like the RAF changes, I don't really get why they had to nerf it.
I am just so excited about the upcoming expansion that i might actually freeze myself just like Cartman did.Oh, yeah, nerfing recruit-a-friend system was kind of expected if you ask me with the new leveling system in place. It is a moot point for sure.
Being a leatherworker made me curious about the unnamed and rare items. But also thinking about leveling a scribe for BfA - seems like contracts are going to sell very well.
All the profession are looking great! I specially like that they are following the "stat shrink" that we are seeing in damage or HP. The game really needed it. Otherwise, it would have gone out of control. However, I wonder if they will be doing the same thing with gold itself, even though it´s harder to modify. Does someone have information on this topic? Thank you!
I should really level up more alts with professions.Inscription looks promising next expenssion, so far i didn't bother to even learn it.
Till now I always waited to maximise the skill of my profession (alchemy) till the mats are at normal prices again. That way I make a nice profit on the mats (herbs) at the beginning of the expansion. Guess I never dared to put money in maximizing skill fast, maybe I should try that for BfA.
Selling a vantus runes from current raid tier is really nice way to make money... I guess. I tried to mobilize myself for such thing, I made over 40 vantus runes for ABT. I created auction for ~1150g on my server. Then money should arrive next day, but unfortunetly I did not set up a bid value so all of my vantus runes were sold for 5g each. BEST PROFIT EVER. I was mad but after all it was just small amount of my current gold progression :P
Ench / Tailoring is the way i go since vanilla, it keeps the income through all time, i cant wait to get that 32 slot will sell pretty fine even in bad servers.
You bet I'll be getting those 32 slot bags. And I'm sure they'll get filled up in no time again too.
Seems like WoD garrison missions got nerfed again with the patch. I haven't seen a single armor token or primal spirit mission on any of my toons since it went live. But maybe it's unintended, I can't imagine why they'd bother at this point. Anyone else notice this?
I really wasn't a fan of the way they did professions in legion, so I'm glad to see they'll be making it a little easier for BFA. I have way too many alts and doing all those profession quests on all the them was a huge no. I did them for my main, and a couple other gold makers, but it just took too much time ): it'll be interesting to see how the profession squish affects this!
I'm interested to see how the profession squish affects how much work it is to get a profession to max level, and how often you see skillups from crafting items. What effect will this ultimately have on the profitability of having maxed-level professions?
Personally I defended the RAF change earlier and I stand by it. Totally understand that people are upset about it - I have exploited the exp boost from it myself a few times.Prof changes are also good. Felt that 800 points was way to much and unnecessary after all these exp so it's great to see such a change. The overall down scaling of stats, prof skills etc are awesome and seem like a good step in the right direction.
Still making good income with WOD bags, but the new larger bag addition will likely make WOD garrisons a lot more obsolete. That's bad... but also good because I probably won't need to log on 12 alts anymore. The manual process is getting annoying. Looking forward to the new engi mount though (yay for mount collectors).
At least some new bags in BFA :D
I like the profession changes but hope they add a lot more, Legion professions felt extremely unfinished.
Considering there are four colors of the Goblin Hovercrafts I thought they might be rewards for the Dungeon and Raid Metaachivements. If they really are engineering mounts, I'll build one as soon as I can. Just like I did with the Mechgeneer's Chopper in WLK.
Pretty excited for new engineering mounts and the new alchemy stones. I have two mains and they have these professions so I'm glad they're showingit some love. The BFA hype is real.
I'm super hyped for BfA, all the new models look awesome!
