Nice to see something come back to the inscription profession, I still wish they kept minor glyphs alive, those really don't affect balance so still hopeful they re-enable them at max levels. Hopefully those contracts will make rep grind go faster than it currently is.
Engineering & Inscription is see to be big money makers in the BfA :D
I've already begun stockpiling Bloods, leather, and brimstone for Steelbound Harnesses in addition to crafting/buying cheap Harnesses. I'm also just trying to be as liquid as possible going into BfA so I CAN level up all my crafting profs as fast as possible, as I only have 2-3 gathering toons, most just craft.
Sure, the BS mount might go up in price over time, but that is assuming Blood of Sargeras stays BOP. If it becomes BOE, while still a pain to farm, they'll be much more common, and inevitably, prices still drop for that mount. Many will be dumping their stock of old mats on the AH at the beginning of the expac, at affordable prices, so there's that to keep in mind as well.
i'm thinking to make a lot of red gems for that exp boost also the new bags for tailoring will be a good profit .Anyway almost every way at the beginning of the expansion will be good to make money
I had planned on RAF-ing myself the next time the WoW base game was going to be on sale. I mostly wanted the RAF fire horse mount with the bonus of leveling some alts. Not sure about it now, I think I will wait to see what other, if any changes they make to the RAF program.
Oh boy inscription is gonna be crazy
I do have an active RAF account and will plan on making use of it before it expires. I also was planning on RAFing another account and might have done it earlier had I known about the exp changes. There is no rush now since the changes took effect already. For new people, I think the leveling rate changes are for the best, so the experience of leveling and figuring out how to play isn't super fast. I also think they did this because of the new races coming in BfA and wanting people to not RAF and speed through everything, but instead experience all the new lore and effort they put into making them.
Really excited for the new herbs and new stuff to do with Alchemy.
Inscription is going to become relevant again? Looking forward to it. Had a lot of friends that were bummed out about Legion Inscription.
im following WoW Economy Weekly Wrap-Up for like 3-4 months now and i have learned alot about how to make gold as i used to have hard time farming enough gold even for my own use ! now im buying wowtoken and turning them to acc balance :Dthx guys really helped me there :D
Well, the profession changes look promising, and I went along with inscription and some jewels to make some gold, lately it was with alchemy, because everyone needs some potions or flasks. I´m looking forward the new resources to get and of course new items (mostly mounts/pets) :D
The contract thing for inscription sounds amazing! That's everyone's #1 focus after hitting max level is grinding reputation for "easy" gear upgrades. It's nice when you hit max during DMF week or another event, but if you can simply make/buy a rep boost item that's even better! It may even be a good use for herbs early when the masses aren't raiding yet and need tons of flasks.(Edit: I think I read it wrong. It sounds more like a rep replacement than a boost? Like if you contract with House Proudmoore, any rep you'd get normally from a WQ ends up being attributed to Proudmoore instead?)
To get ready for BOA I am selling off all my legion stuff. The markets seem to be slowing down on my server and I like to have a nice blankish slate/ tidy banks going into the next expack. I also have a lvl 104 mage alt that has been neglected. She has inscription and after hearing about upcoming changes to inscription I need to make sure she hits 110! Lately I have been crafting old transmog gear, and well it does sell slowly it has been fun to run some of the older instances to gather mats. I do buy mats occasionally, but when I do I always think about what else could drop in that instance that I might be missing out on. Most times its more profitable to just get them myself.
AH flipping? *laughs in order hall missions**Then cries because we aren't getting fleets or whatever the garrison/class order system could have been*
Usually I dispose of all mats and crafts that will hold no value in the next expansion. I leave a bit of mats that can be made into vanity items since those will still sell and maybe even sell for more further along when less people sell them.I actually have two spare accounts I used RaF before on so I could get the rewards, but it was only after tokens were introduced. Not planning on doing that again mostly cause they were the result of spare keys. (Back when I needed TBC I couldn't buy a copy locally and had to buy a battle chest resulting in a spare vanilla key I ended up using years later and the free account I got from the movie).
I am going to level up tailoring as fast as possible and get in on those 32 slot bags. I am sure they will sell for a good penny, for those who wants the extra 8 slots total.
My mining is almost maxed, just trying to decide what to pair with it. I play a shaman so the gear from blacksmithing won't help me, but that doesn't mean I can't use it to make gold. What about JC?
I wonder how the bonus XP gem will work. Low level items don't have gem slots. Does that mean that it's meant as a bonus for the higher levels? But when do you really get sockets while leveling.... I raid every week and don't have a single socket on my current gear xDReally happy for the Khaz'ghorian Hammer! As a Blacksmith and a person who finds it annoying having to pay thousands of gold for repairs during every pug raid.... Would be kinda cool if you could repair other players' gear as well (with some drawback, a cooldown or having to craft a mini-hammer that is one-time use only and can be traded) and thus allowing you to sell repairs at a cheaper price than vendors. That would make for some nice ever-green stuff to earn money with through BS.
Can't wait for inscription to actually have something useful to make again! Grinding rep is also not my favorite thing to do, so it's a win-win situation. Seems like it's been so long since I've had anything helpful that I could do on my inscriptionist.
