Notice how blizz screwed up with the holdings, holding a two hand blade like that is just wrong :-) next time ur on your alts, get this and look for yourself.

I noticed also that there is some clipping issues with the the guard on my female BE. Her right hand actually goes into the guard, which looks a little silly. Very cool looking blade though!

I can't say when it happened, but around 2 months ago (October) this sword started showing enchant glows, which previously was not the case. One day I logged on my bank alt with Unholy on this very sword and was surprised to actually see the little balls circling around.
Ridiculously large sword that can be received at level 5 makes for one awesome bank alt weapon.

And looks very nice.
But its not very good though, better weapons can be found.

But its a good role-playing weapon.

Awesome looking weapon. Use it as a vanity on my main.

Anyone know what enchant would look good on this? I tried Crusader and Lifestealing, but they glow way too faintly. I had to literally have my face an inch away from my screen and had to have the game cam zoomed in all the way on it to see the glow effect of the enchant.

After starting a Death Knight and finishing the Scarlet Enclave storyline, the first thing I did was go after this sword. Slap a Rune of Cinderglacier on it and it looks epic. Great for RP purposes, and for soloing low-end instances in style.

With the advent of Transmogrification in Patch 4.3.0, I'm reasonably sure that we will be seeing a lot more of "this" sword. I know I, for one, will be transmogrifying almost every single two-handed sword I get on my blood elf RP character once I obtain this blade. Heh heh heh.

If Alliance players would like to have this sword for Transmogrification, look no further than this. Quest is rather easy to do at 85, though more time-consuming than you'd think it'd be (the drop rate for the skulls isn't particularly high, and you need 20).

This sword is not available for Transmogrification, unfortunately. If you want the look, however, you can use Estramaçon os-de-dragon, which is the same color. Claymore de forge-pierre is also an option, however the color scheme is different.

Sweet looking two-handed sword.
Anyone know if there is any other sword using this same item format?
I have a secondary character on alliance side, and I'd like to have a sword like this one equiped in him as well, just for show.

Thinking of putting crusader on this, for a laugh an' all that. Also, it has one of the best 2-hand sword graphics in the game (in my opinion), shame they didn't use it for anything other than a white, lowbie quest reward :(
