It doesn't look like you get a free ride to the post ~~so you'll have to go through barrens, into RFK and then take the bridges leading to Freewind~~.

The quest ender is located on a Mesa you can reach with your River Boat. Do not take the long away through RFK.

Sail to (46.4 , 57.9) and just jump up on the ground. No need to waste time on trying to go over the bridges.

The quest giver is at water level on the south-west side of the pillar (46.4,47.8)

She's not obvious until you go around to that side of the pillar, at which point she's immediately obvious...

In the end, you don't end up really freeing Freewind. I believe I've completed all quests in this zone (got the achievement), but Freewind Post is still occupied, and I have not regained it as a flight point for this zone. Sad -- Freewind really has been lost.

at level 42 the quest is not* attainable; yes I did the pre-requisite quest chain and still cant get it. the quest giver has the silver !

I have a ticket in to Gms and waiting for response. I hit level 43 and went back and all Pozzik gave me was Tanaris is Calling
maybe this chain is also now registering as one of the broken?

Quest is very obtainable at lvl 76, and attained achievement after speaking to her SE of the actual Freewind Post. Follow the SE bridge until it takes a path towards the water, she will be there with the old Salt Flats dark elf, Quentin, as well as a blacksmith that you can repair/sell to.

*Edited to note that at the top of the path there is a 2nd quest giver who gives you Le brave et le téméraire.

why is this zone so rediculous!... i've been runnin around tryin to get into this thing, and turns out i have to sail to some 'needle'.. grr... assuming this works, or i'll come back and edit this... bleh, i just want the horn, dammit!

yeah, i went through from the northwest, fought every mob, now i find there is a ramp right by the questgiver from the water... oh boy, i get to fight every mob again, more bananna bread (and silk, oh boy)

well, gained several levels in tn, and bonus, the chieftans respawn very quickly and drop decent greens (though not always, just got silver 3rd time on last guy )

wow, i did it... the bow seller had time to respawn one of his fine bows, there were 2 i purchased before... just a crazy run around quest for a 30 second helper... and pretty cool battles and lots of greens an stuff... and you then get the southside quests, along the south cliff
