The second level Death Knight gear - originally quest only and your equipped set when you leave the Ebon Hold starting area. Currently available for sale (cheap) to Death Knight's at Ebon Hold from Quartermaster Ozorg.

Personally, this is my DK's Tank transmog gear.

This set uses the dark indigo (officially "Black") variant of the "Northrend D1 Plate" artwork. It's only available to death knights, but note that there's an identical set available to all plate-wearers: Saronite War Battleplate (Lookalike).

Also note that the bracer art for this set is a bit mixed up and doesn't really match. This isn't so important as the bracers would be hidden anyway, but I'll briefly explain. There isn't technically a bracer art file for the blue colour variant of the set in the database. However the bracer art included with this dark indigo (officially "Black") version of the set actually matches the blue set (lighter blue, gold-brown edging) and not this one. It looks like someone at Blizzard made a mistake copying them over and copied the blue art file over the top of the black file. Again, it probably won't matter as the bracers would be hidden.

There are three other colour variants of this artwork in the database and all are available as complete or mostly-complete sets. See:

I think I made a very nice set! Take a look. It consists of all the gear above, but the bracers, shoulders and helm. The helm I replaced with Acherus Knight's Hood, and the shoulders warriors and DK's can get, because they are exactly the same model. I also added two Facelifters for a Frost DK look!

I like to use Voile de sang d'assombrisseur des cieux as my cloak, with Porte-haine as my weapon for tanking. They compliment each other, and it fits the concept that I'm Blood. The darkness of the weapon also fits the cold, dark feeling of the set.

I use Cape du requin-diable and Hache de guerre dé-ragée with this set. I'm a blood DK so the red details in the axe look great with Rune of Swordshattering. When I'm wielding a sword I use Lame de seigneur de l'effroi as my mog, with the Rune it looks completely insane.

I'm wondering what would be a really good one handed weapon for this set. Axe/mace/sword. I'm DW frost and its been hard to find some good ones. Preferably something blue >.> Any help would be appreciated ^^
