To access the cave you must kill a Elemental and activate some orbs

I was able to solo-click the 4 orbs in time to open the cave as a warlock. Started at the farthest one high above, rode dragon to click the other higher one, rode dragon to the one right under it, then Demonic Circle: Teleport + Demonic Gateway to the last one.

In order to get this item, you need to kill the Elémentaire perdu at /way #2024 75.6 24.2.

On the comments page for that rare, hamhelth213 has explained what needs to be done: Kill the rare. Upon death, four glowing orbs will spawn in the nearby area - you can easily see them from where there rare is. They can be activated by clicking them, but each is only active for 20 seconds, so to be sure you can have all four activated at the same time, bring a friend (and you will need your flying mount as well).

Once all four are activated, a cave opens up and inside, you will find another rare, Ame errante, which drops this item, that starts the quest Joyau arcanique luisant. When you turn in the quest, you get the two manuscripts Drake des hautes-terres : museau épineux and Drake des hautes-terres : livrée à écailles.

Soloable as a warrior:
- Start with the one at the back
- Mount up, spin fast toward the highest one
- Jump to the one under it (do not walk, just one jump forward)
- Here you might need a little speed boost (potion, Enge belt, war mode double jump)
- Jump on the last one
You might need 2-3 tries, but it's doable.

With 'normal' flying now available in DF post 10.2, it's extremely easy to time the 4 orbs to bust open the cave.
All you have to do is stay hovering when clicking them on a normal mount - do NOT be on the ground when clicking or it'll dismount you.

Start at the highest as the previous methods suggest, mount up, hover, click the orb, then fly to each orb based on their height high to low, making sure you're hovering before clicking.

soloed as a druid in flight form, i stayed in flight form the whole time, started at the top, went across, down, and across. plenty of time just cast it and go
