Worth noting is that you get this from the initial turn-in when reaching Renown 17 with the Maruuk, but you can still buy the rest of the cosmetic weapons using various trade materials from Intendant Huseng. I believe they used a token since there are so many items to choose from initially.

Three of the offerings appear to be shields that are equippable to all and identified as off-hands instead of shields. As a warlock I purchased one and was able to use it, but then the appearance was not available.

Touffe de laine primordiale and Tendon de haut-trotteur seem to be more difficult/expensive items to obtain when compared to the other things needed to buy his stock, and you'll need quite a few if you plan on collecting all of the appearances he offers. Because of that, I would suggest picking up either Merlin en pierre massif or Massette ouvragée en pierre with your token.
