Goblin glider kits were mentioned in the article, but they deserve to be in the consumables table for how valuable they are.

I don't agree with drums on kruul. If using drums on variss gets you less infernals that's much better. I'd only drums kruul if I got the same number of infernals regardless of drums.

Some more specific strat stuff:
Prepull build 5 holy power with Blessed Hammer and drop a consecration
On pull wings+sera+pot+drums, trinket too if you're using an offensive on-use.
Judge eyes. You'll overkill them a bit especially with crits, but it's worth it to get rid of them in a single gcd.
On the first burn try to push up to ~9 stacks. If you have bad RNG you might have to go pick up adds early, but try your best to stay in there.
After you have to leave aura of decay for the first time, Hammer of Justice the boss's next cast and Ardent Defender the first set of adds.
After the first burn, you want to drop stacks and then get back in immediately for 6-7 stacks. If adds are up, great! Just cleave them down under the boss.
For add pickup, I just drop a lazy consecration on top of velen each time I see them about to spawn. If done right, I'll never have to target them and can just keep focused on the boss while judging eyes.
Never touch the infernals. They'll kill themselves so just dodge the smashes and let them burn.
If 2 infernals are big and pulsing damage, I won't go in and will wait until one burns itself out.
For drain life I prioritised Rebuke > Avengers Shield (but I never held it) > Hammer of Justice > Blinding Light > Orb. You could also technically Turn Evil, but it's risky to stand still and cast so that would be a last resort.

On kruul I found the suggested cd rotation a bit risky. So I did:

Fun fact: mind rend cleaves. So maybe don't stand directly on top of Velen if you don't need to.

After a couple hundred attempts I trained myself to 1 infernal phase 1 with no drums so consistently I surprised myself. Here are my tips. Like raid progression, I strait up mastered this fight. Mind you this is a DPS oriented approach that is suited for someone who doesn't main tank raid often. This strat takes away just about all RNG. Minus multiple 180* eye focuses in a row.

* Trinkets I used were 54 upgraded Petit dragon en ectofer and Âme de vieux guerrier
* I was lucky enough to have 2 legendary legion rings but try to find something with a socket.

Consumables
* Boudin de Boralus Potion de bataille de Force excellente, Drums, Augment room Legion+, Parchemin de bataille de Cri de guerre

Phase 1
They key to getting consistent with this phase requires paying attention an visually tracking a lot of things at once including positional awareness. It took over 100 tries to train my eyes to track everything but eventually I was able to do it. I'm MS ret that typically tanks M+ so keeping track of all of these things took time.
Goal: Push phase 2 with 1 (pref) or 2 infernals, and 3 light pools up.

Mark prophet and keep track of where he is. Always try to be kiting prophet and the boss to the center of the room, keep yourself opposite of prophet when he gets near an edge. Try to get the boss as close to prophet as you can without him being inside the bosses aura for add phases.
Try not to take over 9 stacks. If by mistake you and adds come up and you are >9 stacks, you can consecrate kite, hit a light pool, and drop your stacks. If you let ghost adds hit you >9 you are going to die. Also at 10+ stacks the boss spell will 1 shot you, you can stun him to prevent his spell cast from killing you as you drop stacks.
Regardless of your stacks, always try to move yourself over velen away during the add phase. They are telegraphed by the 4 gates around the room. Mastering this will allow you to push phase 2 with 3 light pools up which makes it MUCH easier. You cannot let the ghosts hit him or his life will get low causing you to have to use a pool pre maturely.
You have 3 moves to stop drain life, you have to learn when to use each, Hoj/Shield when dropping stacks, Rebuke when AOEing mobs. Realizing I could hoj to stop drain while dropping stacks made life easier. Note for non tanks that tab target will always prioritize whoever is casting in the direction you are facing, once you hear the weak aura alert go off you can turn towards him, tab and HOJ
When one or more infernals are up, you circle strafe around the boss right outside of his debuff aura spamming consecrate, judge, wrath, and aoe spinning hammer. Try not to take >7 or so stacks when adds and infernals are up. Mastering this maneuver is paramount in downing this and it took me a long time to figure out. You have to tab target to the infernal when he gets low to throw a quick hammer/melee attack on him to finish him off. This maneuver enables you to stun the boss if he casts drain life, dodge, keep dps up on adds (off of prophet). A modification of this maneuver is used in phase 2, minus the decay aura/eyes, plus the purple bands of death. If you are always circle strafing the Infernal's knockback has a much harder time knocking you off. (the most tilting way to die for sure)
Dealing with the eyes takes some time to master, As long as you keep them all on one side of the platform you are ok. When you get targeted by two on opposite sides, you can face one, judge it down real fast, then turn around towards the other one. You must react fast when this happens. By the 150th try or so this became second nature and I didn't have to kill very many of them. During phases where i'm dropping stacks and there are no adds up i typically use that time to kill as many eyes as i can before getting back on the boss.
All eyes will clear when the phase ends

Phase 2 tips:
Goal: Rotate cooldowns, delay the first annihilate as long as possible by using the 3 pools and stun.

There is a bug where the invisible man likes to insta slow you (cannot be freedomed) at the beginning of the phase which was very frustrating when I was learning the phase. I've found it happens less if you push the phase while standing in the center of the room.

The key to dealing with the purple bands of doom is to not try to totally dodge them, but to try to only hit one band at a time. Multiple bands overlapping are like a steam shovel and will mess with your positioning. It is almost impossible to totally dodge each one by running around, the key is to treat a single band like a passable object, and a double band as something you need to move out of the way of. A single purple band has the same amount of opposite movement resistance as the korthia teleporter boss, eye of the jailer valkries, or running full tilte in the opposite direction of the band. With this in mind execute this strategy.

Using the circle strafe kite method from above, begin the the phase by moving towards your 2/3 light pools so you can easily hit them. If prophets life is low go ahead and hit one and do a full AOE rotation while trying to down any adds left over from phase 1.
Once the first anihhilate begins casting, Hoj the boss to delay while you position yourself near the pool.
Once he gets out of stun, use the first pool, when out of daze and begins casting again then hit second, then the third if possible.
Drums when your first wings of the phase comes off cooldown. If you delay correctly and have pools up you should be able to wings with the protection of the life pool dazes above. If you do it right you can preserve all of your cooldowns and have him around 20% or less by the time you have to take your first stack.
Reminder of cooldown rotation, Stack 1: shield Stack 2: shield + cons + ardent defender 3: shield + cons + GOAK, 4 bubble, 5 bop
Remember to track where prophet velen is throughout the phase, its easy to get lost and have him die to adds. Dps on my kill was around 950

I don't know if something happend with today reset. But when I tried to do the boss :
- Velen's orb sometime disappear for no reason.
- 1st boss aura is kinda buggy, was at 4 stack and instantly goes to 11 stacks in like 1s

Even in 10.0.5 - the prot pally version of this is still so very badly overturned, when compared to other tank specs.

Finally got this done today! After many hours of attempts, some likely unnecessary. I didn't realize I could use my glider enchant (since they've disabled it in most 'instances'. I was however using potions of gusts which give you a second way to return back so I'd recommend them (just in case).

So my tips, if you can call them that:

Gliders AND potions of gusts can be amazing. 2+ ways to come back from an unlucky knockback is nice!
A focus macro for Avenger's Shield, focus set to Inquisitor Variss. This makes it super easy to interrupt when needed in case you've switched targets at a bad time.
Mark Velen with a skull (or anything super visible to you). Phase 2 gets chaotic and it's easy to lose him in the shuffle which can make protecting him frustrating. I generally would fight for a bit then move to him to drop conc and/or for orbs. If you can keep conc up on/near him then it won't matter if you get displaced away from him, the adds will come to you.
Try saving Divine Toll for the adds, specifically move them to Variss and use it on him. Tyr's Enforcer does a lot of extra damage and will help!

This fight is buggy... Sorry to break it to you dear reader but be ready get killed dozens of time. Especially by getting kicked out of the platform. The Infernals that get summoned can sometimes insta kick you just as they assemble. That's it. The DBM warning just pops out at the same moment of cast, you will not get a chance to dodge it :/ Good luck and... yea, have fun?
