Given that a Lavalliere is a "jeweled pendant worn on a chain around the neck", I'm guessing this will create a neck piece.

It seems that this object has the lower drop rate between all the timeless BoA stuff, so you should save it for someone really important to you (an alt of course)

twobrainedman is correct, this item does create a neck piece.

For my holy spec priest, it created Collier amarante "of the Savant" with 1022 Stamina, 682 Intellect, 673 Mastery.

For my guardian druid, it made Sautoir du chaud soleil "of the Zephyr" with 1022 Stamina, 682 Agility, 454 Haste, 454 Mastery.

Got another, for protection pally, it made Gorgerin en écailles de tortue ancienne "of the Bouldercrag" with 1022 Stamina, 682 Strength, 454 Dodge, 454 Parry.

Edit: When Timeless Isle released it was 1 out of 100 tokens seemed to be a Lavallière du Temps figé. Pretty horrible.

Now <5.4.3-6.0.3> Its GREATLY improved, approx 1-30~. ALSO 4/4 up-gradable to 551 if you use a Fardeau de l'éternité. If you are swimming in Lesser Charm of Good Fortune (currency that drops from Everything in MoP) ANY of the Isle tokens are a must to 4/4 for leveling 90-100 in WoD.

Undoubtedly the rarest of all the "Timeless" pieces. After having farmed the island for 4 weeks on 3 chars, I have still yet to see it drop. I have also opened several hundred timeless chests in the caves and gotten a bunch of burdens, rings, curios and of course other timeless armor I have no use for.
(I have one burden still saved, when it does find the courtesy to drop)

This is probably extremely lucky, but neck was the last thing I needed to upgrade so I decided to buy 20 cache keys from Kukuru(?) and try to get one that way, it dropped my the 18th box. This is probably the easiest way to "farm" for one since timeless coins aren't hard to get and you probably don't have anything else to buy anyways.

I've been at this item for 2 months. I've yet to see one drop. At this point over the past week, I have accumulated 5 Burdens of Eternity that sit in my bank with nothing to use them on which apparently have a higher drop rate than this item.

I'd gladly trade a Burden to be able to purchase this. Holy moly.

I got mine by opening timeless chests with keys Clé de cache de Koukourou. A guild member also got one this way.

If you've no other need for coins and are searching for this it is definitely an option to consider.

Buy 20 at a time. Stand behind Kukuru and just spam open chests.

Has anyone ever gotten this as a drop? I've probably gotten about 80 various Timless drops, and not a single one of these.

After months of not getting any of these, within an hour I've gotten two off two different rares. This may signal they increased the chance or I was extremely lucky. This is the first time this week I've been on the isle since restart.

Edit: Definitely just luck, I've continued through the week with no further drops and many rare kills. Curious as to why they made this such a rare piece.

FINALLY got my Lavallière du Temps figé today! It has a 0.3% drop rate! It only creates a 496 item, but with a Burden of Eternity Fardeau de l'éternité it makes an upgradable 535 piece! Which is way better than my 522 piece. Will submit a screen shot. I got it from killing the rare, Great Turtle Furyshell Grande tortue Ecaille-de-Fureur
