This is very good for selling at AH. If you are an engineer and at about this level, sell this for about 4.5-5g. Ignore the idiots who sell it for the underpriced 3.7g.
This will be one of your ways of making money, as most other things you make can only be used by engineers.

Like all scopes, "Requires Level 30" applies to both the character attaching the scope and the level of the item being attached to.

Apparently, all scopes below the Standard Scope now bind the weapon.

To elaborate on what was previously said, if you want to send a gun and scope to someone, send it to them separately. Once you attach the scope to a gun or bow, it becomes soulbound. Also, the guns that use the deadly scope as a mat to make them can still have another scope attached to them.
