If you're wondering, yes; this is the only bandage as of right now, you will not (as of this posting) learn a more powerful one (or one that combines multiple into a better one), and this can be used to level First Aid all the way to 700.

Interestingly enough there is another bandage in the item database, called Bandage d'A'shran. While it has "Ashran" in the title, there's currently nothing to make us think its use will be restricted to Ashran. Being flagged as "usable in arena" does more to enforce that idea, but until we know how this is crafted (or purchased if it's not craftable) this is all just speculation.

Even this early into the expansion, player health levels are high enough that the Antiseptic Bandage is already starting to feel somewhat weak. The Ashran Bandage would seem like going from one extreme to the other, but nobody ever complains about healing for too much. Hopefully we'll learn more about the Ashran Bandage in the coming days/weeks; until then, you're stuck with this "Antiseptic" bandage as your only source of first aid profession healing, aside from the healing potions that are, oddly enough, now also made with the profession.

I created Bandage antiseptique for the first time today and out of 125 Fourrure somptueuse I got 19 Bandage antiseptique... I have high first aid skill (687) but alot of the time it would take the Fourrure somptueuse x 5 and I wouldn't get any Bandage antiseptique

Anyone else have this happen to them?

It's been ten years...bandages still don't help against bleeding.
