These come from gutting Grangousier des abysses (and their Small and Enormous equivalents). I found the Murkbog in Spires of Arak was the best place to farm these.

I found a good place to grind them inside Spires of Arak, best place is Shadowglade, all the water there got sometimes schools of gulper eel, random drops like: Grangousier des abysses or Enorme grangousier des abysses random amount of Œuf de grangousier des abysses drop from inside, droped me 7 and 9 units until now from 2 times from Enorme grangousier des abysses, gl on your fishin :)

I easily found them at Crow's Crook, Spires of Arak (50,35.) There was an Abyssal Gulper School nearby to fish from and don't forget to use Abyssal Gulper Eel Bait if you get one. You can turn 10 Abyssal Gulper Eel into a random amount of Abyssal Gulper Eel Egg used for the quest Abyssal Gulper Eel for Horde and Abyssal Gulper Eel for Alliance.

If you have more than 10 eggs you can put the rest in the bank and they will not be used!

You get these by filleting Petit grangousier des abysses, Grangousier des abysses or Enorme grangousier des abysses, which can be fished up in Spires of Arak.

(you can sell your surplus (over 10) to the nearby vendor, and buy them back after handing in the quest)

As of Feb 24/15 you can no longer buy or sell these on the auction house as they are "quest items" which cannot be auctioned. It was changed with the patch update.
