The stamina bonus is considered a food buff, but these can be used in combat.

Despite the unique limitation, and the limited duration, these make for a very nice self heal in desperate situations (heroics), especially with the complete lack of cooldown.

CAN in fact crit. No cooldown. Useable in combat. Its great for doing a difficult daily or some world pvp.

Not useable in dungeons or raids though. In fact you will even lose the stamina buff when you go into a dungeon.

The stamina given from this item doesn't appear to have been affected by the stat squish, still giving 148.

I just looted one of these today while running through old content and was surprised to see that I still got a big stamina buff even at max level. I'm not sure if it was healing me or not (I've been one-shotting everything), but it appeared to give me +55 stam, and I'm fairly positive that is a lot better than any buff foods from Shadowlands cooking! With my current stats, that worked out to almost an extra 1.3k health.

(Maybe I shouldn't say that too loud though because I wouldn't mind having a boost that didn't get nerfed for once... my rogue is still kinda squishy.)
