To use this item open the Garrison Report (the button near the minimap), go to the followers tab. Right-click the item and then left-click on the follower that you wish to upgrade.

Do not use this before using a weaponry for 615, 630, or 645 ilvl - click link/see top comment, as it will not count the amount of ilvl you have already upgraded. For example, 603 weapon goes to 615 not 618.

Want to give advice on how to improve the armor or weapons.

When we get better weapons / armor is not important on many levels, do not rush to use it, it is better to wait until you are lucky and you have a Goredrenched Weaponry / Goredrenched Armor Set 645 level, and only after that'll use improvement! Otherwise you very wrong and can waste your improvements.

PS Remember the simple thing first get set epics/rare/uncommon, and then improve them. Better improve with rare / epic sets.

Get an epic gear 645 for associates as follows:

Armor:

Quest follower We Have a Mole.
Salvage yard Crate of Salvage.

Weapon:

Quest follower Operation Skybreach.
Salvage yard Crate of Salvage.

I advise you to prepare in advance for the assignment follower.

I want to give the following example:
Let's say you raise the level of items for associates using the gain at levels 3/6/9, but suddenly falls Goredrenched Armor Set and it immediately raises the level of subjects to 645 even roughly zero (IL 600), and you're already level 624 items that you have raised with the help of improvements, say 3, is 8 Braced Armor Enhancement, if we did not spend them, we first would increase ally armor to 645, and then finished off more improvements from 645 to 669 IL, draw conclusions.

PS 670 appears to be max follower ilvl currently.

Would it have been SO terrible for this stuff to stack in your bags? Currently have almost 20 enhancements and barely getting any armor or weapons to use it on. -_-

This now seems to stack in stacks of 5.

Edit: now to 5

Edit again: Every time I gain a new upgrade item (as in, use one of the items that has a chance to turn into a green, blue or epic version) it gets added to my stack. Right now I'm sitting on a stack of 6. However when I try to drag one of the "older" ones I already had in my bag onto that same stack it simply refuses to stack, I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Follower Weapon and Armor enhancements can now stack up to 20

Follower weapons can be upgraded to a max of 655 (epic) with tokens. A higher item level means your followers can get garrison missions that give higher item level rewards.

I just had a weird bug: I have one Balanced Weapon Enhancement that wont stack with a stack of 19, like if it's the wrong item or like if the maximum is not 20. It's got the same name, icon and description.

Restarting the game didn't solve it.

Did anyone had this weird bug? I'm curious :)

This is not mentioned here yet, but when your follower increases in quality, his item level stay the same.

So no need to wait until your common follower became epic.

Important!

On the Alpha, all follower enhancements and sets tokens listed bellow have their selling price drastically reduced and retain their BoP status. It's fair to assume that it will be the same when Legion become live.

If you have tons of them laying around make a profit and sell them now before the Legion Pre-Patch.
Meanwhile, use the Fortin nain / Usine de guerre Niveau 2 work orders with your excess Ressources de fief to get even more tokens to sell for gold. Keep a few stack in case they become BoA if you have a last alt to level up before legion.

For now they cost gold but with legion they will go for 5 to 20 copper.

This now requires level 40 to be used. Also, they do not stack.
