Currently a tailor-made item requiring ~~ten~~ now 100 Étoffe de trame-sort and ten Terre ensorceleuse.

If the recipe stays the same as it currently is on beta (the new recipes):

At 20 Fourrure somptueuse and 10 Dionée de Gorgrond per Étoffe de trame-sort, one hundred Étoffe de trame-sort will require the following mats:

A maximum of
500 Fourrure somptueuse
200 Dionée de Gorgrond

A minimum of *
200 Fourrure somptueuse
100 Dionée de Gorgrond

( 1. This does not include cloth received from Garrison work orders.)

One of the spells to create Étoffe de trame-sort now creates 4 per use, and another, Étoffe de trame-sort produces up to 10. These are based on your skill level. You will create 4 per use at non-max, and 4+ at max level.

Obtaining Terre ensorceleuse may seem simple enough, but it may yet be an arduous task, as it is "A magical byproduct of Blacksmithing, Inscription, Jewelcrafting and Leatherworking," and Earth isn't the only possible byproduct.

Sac en trame-sort has two more slots than the Sacoche royale, a tailor-made item requiring 12 Soie impériale, and also two slots more than the new (with Warlords) Sac en peau de Gronn (most likely a raid drop, but don't yet know).

The next largest bags after these three are the following: Sac illusoire at 26 slots, a tailor-made item requiring 8 Filerêve, Trou portable, Sacoche de fournitures kor'kronne, Sac rapiécé en étoffe maléficiée, and Paquetage grumelot at 24 slots, and Sac en braise-soie, Sac flambant neuf de Papa, Sac à dos élargi en cuir d'Onyxia, Sac en peau de dragon, and the Sac « gigantesque » at 22 slots.

P.S. Blizzard, I love you, but don't make me have to re-do the math a 5,934th time, please? Kthx!

Why do we keep getting bags that aren't multiple of 4! For people that don't use bag addons, those 2 missing slots floating inside a bag are a nightmare!

Many players with gold to spare will only settle for the biggest bags possible, and this is going to be it in WoD.

DEJA-VU
This bag will require a player to be exalted with one of the two new factions in Draenor much like a tailor needed to be exalted with the August Celestials in MoP before being able to buy the recipe. The new factions are Shattari Defense and Laughing Skull and can be unlocked by building a Trading Post (note that it must be a level 3 Trading Post to be able to reach exalted).

There are 4 ways to get Étoffe de trame-sort
1. Work orders which maximum yield is 2 Cloth
2. you can use the daily cooldown Étoffe de trame-sort (Étoffe de trame-sort until Tailoring 700)
3. Buy 1 with 10 Esprit primordial
4. Blingtron gift drops some too

There are 3 ways to get Terre ensorceleuse
1. Buy 1 with 25 Esprit primordial
2. Buy from the Auction House
3. Byproduct from Work Orders and Crafting
Note that only Blacksmithing, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, and Leatherworking buildings or professions can produce this byproduct.

About Étoffe de trame-sort

Étoffe de trame-sort produces between 4 and 10 Étoffe de trame-sort, depending on your Tailoring skill. Below level 600, you only produce 4. Between level 600 and 700 the yield slowly increases to reach 10 at level 700.

Work Orders produce between 1 and 2 Étoffe de trame-sort. The closer your Robot-bonheur 8000 is to 100, the higher the chance that the yield will be 2. With a guarantee when your Robot-bonheur 8000 is 100.

The cheapest of the two methods is Étoffe de trame-sort, because getting Dionée de Gorgrond every day is very easy with a Herb Garden. With a follower in the herb garden you can choose what to plant. If you choose Dionée de Gorgrond those will be the ones you harvest yourself, not the yield from work orders.

About Terre ensorceleuse

The easiest way to get Terre ensorceleuse would be Buying it from the Primal Trader with Esprit primordial.
Alternatively you could get it from the Auction House, or trade with Guild or Friends who are Crafters that have received this reagent as a byproduct.

Mining seems to be the way to go for really farming Esprit primordial. With Multiple characters you could also use your Alts Mines to gather a supply to eventually buy Terre ensorceleuse and send it to your tailor. (probably a bigger hassle then it's worth)

Time needed to make the bag

Making a bag at Tailoring 700 would take 5 days.

Given Étoffe de trame-sort at tailoring 700 with 1 charge every day. And a lvl100 follower assigned to the tailoring emporium would guarantee 2 Étoffe de trame-sort Per Work order. 1 work order takes 4 hours which is 6 work orders in a day.

This means 22 Étoffe de trame-sort Per Day (10+12) with maxed Follower and Profession. Not maxed then 6-15 Étoffe de trame-sort Per Day, which would require you like 7+ days to make a bag.

I'd rather pay double for 32 slot bags than the current prices for 30 slot bags. Those extra 2 half there / half missing slots are really annoying (looks like I'm not the only one lol...). And I'm not terribly interested in bag addons to make one giant grid because I like having 5 "distinct" bags to sort my stuff out accordingly. >_>

I think I'll just stick to royal satchels until one of the following happens: 1) we get 32 slot bags 2) I desperately need 8 more lots 3) I figure out how to tolerate the missing UI slots

Everyone who hates the two missing slots should check out the addon Baud Bag. It's a small bag addon that'll allow you to arrange your bags as 5x6 or 6x5 to keep them square without changing much else.

With the next expansion (Legion) still one year away and the promise of a much better transmog service , people will be gathering any gear they think even has a remote chance of being xmog-worthy. These bags will probably go up in auction value as space becomes more precious and the gear piles up.

If you are a buyer, buy them now (on Windrunner they go for a mere 1.2k gold). If you are a seller, start stockpiling mats (or bags) and watch the Auction House around late-Winter/mid-Spring of 2016. As always, it all fluctuates based on the server and economy. I'm basing this prediction on the gear I'm collecting across (11) toons all of whom are totally loaded with Royal Satchels.

***UPDATE: As per the latest information, Legion will not have a new Tailoring bag at launch (, previously a 32-slot bag, has been nixed)! It appears that (other than Bagage du dément), Sac en trame-sort will be the largest bag available at launch.***

Legion will be bringing with it many new bags, including ~~at least two~~ only one new Tailoring bags - Sacoche en soie tissée, a presumably easy-to-craft 24-slot bag, ~~and , a premium 32-slot bag requiring quite a bit more to make~~.

LEGACY BAGS

The following 20+ slot bags are rare indeed...they are no longer obtainable in-game, but if you had one from before, you would retain it.

Prior to patch 4.0.1, Hunters had to keep a stock of ammo/arrows in a specialized quiver or ammo pouch in order to use their bows, crossbows or guns. With 4.0.1, the following changes were implemented:

Hunters no longer were required to carry ammo/arrows, and had unlimited ammo from that point
All recipes for quivers were removed from vendors
All pre-existing ammo/arrows were converted to grey vendor trash
All quivers and ammo bags were converted to regular bags of varying sizes
In many cases, the patterns to craft these specialized bags were REMOVED from a character's profession recipe list, even if they learned the patterns prior to 4.0.1.

The only exception to this seems to be Carquois des mille plumes - it is still craftable, although the recipe to learn it has been removed.

Below is a list of 20+ slot bags available until now:

Those who already had the bag from the questline retained it.
Carquois nérubien renforcé	20	Leatherworking	2 X Cuir boréen lourd 20 X Chitine nérubienne (No longer craftable!)	BoE. This quiver was used back when Hunters had to carry arrows/ammo in specialized bags in order to use their ranged weapons. With the advent of patch 4.0.1, the recipe for these was removed from vendors, AND the crafting spell was removed from the Leatherworkers that previously could craft it! Those who had the bag (already crafted) retained it.

Simple explanation

135 cloths to make 1 bag

So if you can craft it's alot cheaper even if you buy cloths/2 gold.

Avg minimum AH prices for bags: Min:800 gold max: 2400 gold

Calculations:
-With a lvl 3 tailoring emporium + a lvl 675 follower
-You will get out off 26 WO(4days)= 99 hexweave cloth(HW) = 3.8 HW/WO (5clothx26WO= 130 cloth)
lets make it (5clothx27WO= 135 cloth)

We're well into Legion at this stage and, as a tailor, this bag keeps me going back to my WoD garrison on a daily basis.
With Fourrure somptueuse selling for 5 gold each (I thankfully stocked up around 10,000 of these pre-Legion at 1 gold or less each) and all the other ingredients being available daily in Garrisons for free (do need to use my alchemist to transmute to get Terre ensorceleuse) - it means there is still a nice profit to be made with these bags.

Depending on supply, these go for 1400-2800 gold on my server (EU-Kor'Gall)

With the new 34 slot bag being so insanely expensive and unique, I don't see the market for Sac en trame-sort going away anytime soon!
The existence of Bagage du dément says to me that there is no larger craftable bag planned for a considerable time to come.
