In Beta you are able to get these at your Tannery.
Some of them are Alliance only others are Horde only.

Since they are BoA you can send them to all your chars if you like!

Be warned that you can't use tents inside of a raid.

Also, they recently dropped the recipe cost from 25 to 5 hides.

Some information about tents:

The level 2 tannery With a leatherworking follower attached to it grants the ability to buy these for free.

You can only have 5 of any one type of tent at a time, but you can carry 5 of every type of tent.

Each tent type has a separate cooldown, so you can place more than one type of tent down at a time.

The tents last for 5 minutes, with a 5 minute cooldown.

The person who sets the tent down seems to effect if you can get the rested state from the tent, meaning if you are sitting inside someone's tent and they log off, you no longer receive the rested state, and cannot immediately log out.

I invited a friend into a group, and she was able to visit my garrison and buy the tents from the 'vendor'.

The Well-Rested buff this grants does not confer any experience bonus. This is a glorified old Kings.

This buff adds 10 percent of base stats, not overall stats. It stacks with Blessing of Forgotten Kings. It is zone local; and disappears if you change zones, even if you venture into a local scenario.

Should bring tents back. Things like this, that allow people to detach from capital cities, would help make the world feel more alive I think.

Would be great if we still had tents, or if they were usable anywhere outside dungeons, raids, and BGs. I just want to set up a campsite for RP, c'mon.
