Lesser Arcanums have been removed from the game, so these does not do anything anymore. Blizzard should downgrade the rarity of them.

All of the old Librams are now useless. The quests have been removed from the game, however several of the Librams continue to drop even in Cataclysm (patch 4.3.2) and are still green quality. Since they have no vendor value and no purpose, you can safely trash these or better yet, just pass the loot roll.

I went back to farm rep for Wintersabre Trainers yesterday and it dropped from a Furblog. Kinda neat to see old content regardless of useability. The read was and pics were a nice change from MoP rep/daily grinding. Would be nice however to either take it out of game or give a vendor value if Blizz is going to keep it in game. Why have it drop if it's just going to be clicked out of your bag to discard?

I hate these things, they keep showing up in AH searches whenever I look for recipes I can learn, and every time I have to remember that they don't actually do anything.

as of 3/9/14, they still drop. i got 2 today just lvling in silithus. cool for lore, but really, they need to be grey or white at the best

I bought one of these from AH for 2 gold to see what they would do if I read them. Nothing happened so I came here to find out what they should do if I read them and discovered... they don't do anything (sigh).

It seems there is still a lot of outdated defunct content that should be deleted from the game. Instead of focusing on new content perhaps Blizz should direct some more man/woman power into cleaning up, deleting or updating older content.

I can now do timewalker dungeons to remember the gold old days I don't need obsolete content to remind me of what used to be.

Pretty sure the only thing these are still useful for is to clog up the Auction House: Recipes. I would however, like to know if anyone actually buys these things and how many people do.

Still drops. In classic, these Librams would lead to a quest where high level toons could gather a few rare mats and trade them in for a bonus to an armor piece. Tenacity got you 125 armor.
