It's not required for any of chain's quest completion, instead it stays in your bag after you finish progressing through whole chain.

I've not found any evidence for its usefulness, thus it's probably safe to throw it out.

From the contents of this book, it sounds like that the artifacts the Sorcerer Kings (like Imperator Margok owns in Highmaul) were originally Orcish shaman stones. Interesting.

Journal d'Argoram can safely be deleted; it's a "flavor text" item from the Gronnsbane Harrison Jones quest chain. Each of the six quest chains needed for the Maître chasseur de reliques achievement leaves a similar soulbound book in your inventory, each of which can be deleted after finishing the quest it's from:
