This is one of the upgrade items for the iLevel 640 epic goggles that engineers can make and use.

*UPDATE for June 23, 2015* - Bitoniau mirifique de Morden instable and Lunettes octogonales d'Orguignard instable can no longer be crafted. Pre-patch 6.2 upgrade items (created before the patch) can be deconstructed to create the following:

As of 6.2, the new initial upgrade item will be Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon (used for any and all upgrades until Stage 4). The upgrade items required for each stage is listed below:
Stage 1 to 2 (Item level 640 to 655) - Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon
Stage 2 to 3 (Item level 655 to 670) - Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon
Stage 3 to 4 (Item level 670 to 685) - Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon
Stage 4 to 5 (Item level 685 to 700) - Réducteur de bulles bi-directionnel
Stage 5 to 6 (Item level 700 to 715) - Lunettes anti-infrableu

**Note that 3 separate Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon items are required to get from Stage 1 to Stage 4.**

Notes about the upgrade items:

The upgrade items themselves are BoE and can be traded or sold on the Auction House
They can be used by anyone (not just engineers)
Using an upgrade item on gear will NOT bind it to you if it is not already bound to you
The upgrade item will NOT change the combination or proportion of stats on the item (e.g. if non-upgraded version has versatility and haste, the upgraded item will also have versatility and haste, just more of each stat)
These items can be used on gear that is already equipped
These upgrade items are exclusively crafted by Engineers - you cannot craft them as a non-Engineer, even with the Engineering Works building in your garrison
The Sang sauvage used for upgrades to Stage 2, 3 and 4 are obtained from the Garrison Barn, crafted by alchemists as a daily cooldown, or purchased from « Experte » Sazsel Chapardoigts (H)/Ashley Zérep (A) in your garrison for 25 Esprit primordial each
The Sylvechancre used for upgrades to Stage 5 and 6 are obtained from mining, herb gathering, skinning, or fishing in Tanaan Jungle

This brings the total cost of upgrading the goggles (from Stage 1 to 6) to:

The versions of the goggles are as follows:
Cloth: Méca-solaires à plasma
Leather: Méca-solaires à vision nocturne
Mail: Méca-solaires cyber-génétiques
Plate: Méca-solaires tranchegarde

Notes about the goggles:

They are BoE and can be sold on the Auction House or traded
They require Engineering at skill level 600 or higher to use
They can be equipped at Level 91
The goggles require 100 Pièces de gyro-ressort to craft
One of the primary stats (Intellect, Agility or Strength) will change with based on spec - as such a single helm can be used in multiple specs (e.g. between Elemental and Enhancement shaman specs)
The helmet will be crafted with +93-139 each of two random secondary stats (chosen out of Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, Versatility or Multistrike)
The secondary stats can be re-rolled (randomly reselected) using the consumable item Assemblage délicat de Didi (1 item required per re-roll)
The quantity of secondary stats when crafted is random as well (e.g. one item may have +133 crit and +104 haste, while another of the same type may have +130 crit and +110 haste)
The on-use effect will zoom into the distance, allowing you see distant objects/people. The effect has no cooldown, and is cancelled by moving or right-clicking the buff
The goggles count towards 1 of the 3 maximum Warlords of Draenor crafted items that you can have equipped at one time

A chart of the possible random secondary enchants for this item follows below, with the two stat combinations for each enchant (for example, the goggles could be named "Plasma Mechshades of the Random Enchantment", where the Random Enchantment is one of the below names):

I have my goggles 5/6 but then upgraded the two slots using valor points ... if I use the Infrablue-Blocker Lenses will it work? My ilvl on the goggles is at 710 so am thinking it will be a total waste if it works as it will only gain 5 ilvls? Has anyone done this and if so what were the results? Miffed as I probably should have waited to use the VP upgrade after I did the last level of warcrafted upgrade :(

With the release of patch 10.0.5 for Dragonflight, a replacement has been added in the form of Pignon autobloquant de Grasmaillon remarquable, so it is now once again possible to obtain remarkable crafted Draenor goggle appearances.
