Picked one up off a table (57.1, 47.6) in Tarren Mill during a Demon Invasion event (similar to taking a Potion de protection gangrenée off one of the other tables there).

Gives a ground targeting circle when activated/cast which you then click where you want to throw the jar to. Does aoe damage. Not sure yet what happens with the spiders as the one time I tried it I was killed by the boss we were fighting.

In addition to the 3 consumables purchasable from the invasion vendors, there are various consumables that can be looted in the invasion starting towns.

~~When you are at the carrying limit (max) for one of these items, trying to loot another will send it to your mailbox.~~ The mailbox trick no longer seems to work.

Gadgetzan, Tanaris

Off GCD.
Seems that this item is the only combat related consumable from pre patch that doesn't have a limited duration.

These are currently usable in battlegrounds... i got hit with one in teh 20-29 bracket and it instakilled me :(

This item was available to players only during the Legion prepatch. It is no longer obtainable in game.

No longer usable as of 8.0. Items collectors can still keep it for the memories; it's still green quality, a fairly rare situation for items that no longer have any uses.
