Hmm, using guns to shoot ourselves forward? Seems Legit. Now to just figure out how to do a backpack to propel us up using guns, and perhaps one on the waist to propel us to either side. We can ride the Goblin Jetpack system!

For now i know that:

Item is consumed on use
Can use in dungeons
Can use only outside
So it works in Eye of Azshara, but doesn't work in Violet Hold
Mythic+ needs testing.
Cannot use in combat
But combat will not break the effect

How it works:
Use the item and get 25 seconds +200% & water walking buff
The animation is hilarious. 2 guns attached to your feets and firing all the time to speed you up)

I don't know how anyone has not said this, but these boots are a reference to Toejam and Earl's Rocket skates.

Hotfix from September 6th, 2016:

Gunshoes and Gunpowder Charges should now craft stacks instead of single items.

Well at least now I'll consider making these! (For future readers, the same mats used to craft a single consumable.)

These are simply amazing :)

As others have said, they can't be used in combat, however combat doesn't break the effect. This means that they're really REALLY good for running through areas full of mobs that like to stun/slow/dismount you (eg. packs of withered, prowlers, spiders etc... actually, most mobs in Broken Isles). Whereas usually you'd get dismounted within seconds, these just carry you on through :) They effect lasts for 25 seconds which is more than enough time to get you through the mobs.

Also really good for taking shortcuts across water :)

I am pretty sure this is a reference to old GTA games where when you had a tank and you turned the turret backwards it would enable you to fly provided you spam the fire button.

Very useful for leveling when you can't fly. This is basically a 200% speed 'mount' with waterwalking for 25 seconds AND prevents you from dazing. Therefore it can be used to rush through pack of mobs. Note that you keep moving for the duration of the buff, so you can't collect things for the duration.

If your prowl into cat form first, the speed of these are 340%. They're fantastic, especially now that you make 10 at a time. Will buy the ore on AH anytime it's on for v.low price.... Going engineering was the best thing ever - gnomish gravity well to gain even more altitude once you use wormhole generator, goblin glider to glide from a high point for a long long time, prowl, and use gunshoes for rest of journey.
