Regenerating 11,1% health every 2 sec with this buff food.

Depending on recipe rank 5 (rank1), 7 (rank2) or 10 (rank 3) of these are created from 5 x Talang maudit and 1 x Olive royale

The Rank 1 recipe can be obtained from the NPC Nomi in Dalaran or the quest Un moral de vainqueurs in Aszuna.

with this food buff on my troll warrior i was getting about 11k hp per 2 seconds in combat up from 1k hp per 2 seconds in combat

The healing does not seem to go into effect while you are taking damage from drowning, so you can't use this food as an hour-long waterbreathing potion, unfortunately.

Almost mandatory for the quest L’équitation pour les nuls, especially at the part when you got to jump down a waterfall.

With this food buff, Warlocks can use Burning Rush for a permanent 50% move speed bonus while running around questing/etc. The regen from the Chow completely counters the loss of life from Rush.

Sadly, this works even when you put on a Day of the Dead costume, which ruins the fun for everyone around.

Fighter Chow works in dungeons and greatly helps no-healer Mythic+ runs.

The buff disappears upon death, even if you die from fall damage.

Which makes no sense considering its purpose is to help out characters who are struggling to level/quest.

Meaning that every time you die you gotta eat a new Chow for 10 seconds to get the buff again.

Nerfed in 7.2 now its give only 400% instead of 1000%.

I can't figure out what's causing it, but every so often this seems to heal me while I'm *IN COMBAT* as well. It was happening most of the day yesterday, but now, today, it's not. I suppose it could have been hotfixed, but seeing as how this food has been in the game for a while now, it would surprise me a little.

(This happens on my Rogue, which makes it amazing)

Has anyone else seen this happen to them?

Shadowlands variant of this food is called "Seraph Tenders" but it strangely requires lvl55 which is basically half of shadowlands levels already done.

The Shadowlands replacement for Fighter Chow is Seraph Tenders. Only downside is that it requires level 55 to eat so you can only start using it while you're leveling up at that point.
