Obtenu sur un Esprit de Bien-né en colère (Esprit de Bien-né en colère) qui peut pop sur une levée.
Le proc n'est pas à 100%, je n'ai eu qu'1 seul joyau sur 7 mobs.

Donc, il faut d'abord que le mob proc, puis qu'il lâche un des 6 joyaux. Et moi qui pensais qu'il ne pouvait pas y avoir plus chiant que les 25 artefacts d'Aszuna...

J'ai obtenu les 6 joyaux en allant au bout de +/- 210 levés. Bonne chance !

Eh bah vous en avez de la chance lol moi j'ai eu 1 esprit et aucun joyaux.. J'ai reconstitué deja 13 artefacts sachant que ca me demande 50 pour le plus facile et 100 ou 120 pour les plus hauts, heureusement je suis nain ca proc plus de morceaux d'artefacts a chaque levées mais bon ..

Pour ceux qui veulent s'aventurer dans la quête :
En 3h, seulement 2 joyaux pour 7 esprits pop.
(1 joyau obtenu sur butin de fouille, 1 en loot sur l'esprit)

9 sites de fouilles - 3 en levée - 3 sur le mob

J'ai fait 7 sites de fouille, donc j'ai quasiment eu à chaque fois un Joyau d'Aellis. Soit 5 sur le mob qui pop Esprit de Bien-né en colère (perso j'ai eu 100% de loot) et 1 en une levée.
J'ai du avoir beaucoup de chance quand je lis vos commentaires. Le tout sur les sites de fouille de Suramar.

I've done at least 6 digsites so far, and the only jewel I collected was from the corpse of an Angry Highborne Spirit that spawned. It's not a 100% drop from the spirits.

TLDR: Drops from both digs and wisps, more common from wisps, takes a long time.

I have received one from a wisp kill and another from a normal dig. That said I've done roughly 15-20 dig sites, completed 16 projects and I've still only got 2 jewels.

Edit: Just got my third, also off a wisp. It's anecdotal at this point but I believe the drop rates off wisps are much higher than those off digs.

Edit 2: #4 from a regular dig.

Edit 3: #5 off another wisp.

Edit 4: #6 off another wisp.

All told this took me roughly 2 hours, ~30-40 dig sites, 31 total high elf artifact solves.

Can confirm you can receive them from normal digs. 5 digsites for 1 so far.

Also found one from a wisp. 1 out of 3 kills.

The drop chances seem incredibly random. Like others have said, you can get them from both digs and wisps. It took me a decent amount of time to get the first four, and I ended up getting the last two on back-to-back digs. The good thing about this quest is that the Suramar dig sites are rather small, grouped close together, and in areas where there are minimal mobs to interrupt you.

Finally got six/six on 30th digsite. Two Hours, Twenty Minutes total time.

Got one from normal dig. The other five came from Angry Spirits. Drop rate for me on those was 5/13.

Not sure it was worth the 5k gold reward.

These jewels are needed only for the quest Au milieu des décombres. The reward for it is a crown worth 5000g.

Weigh out whether the joy of getting the money (and achievement) with the hassle of getting the gems.

just leveled archeology from 17 to 317... 0 drop. I am etither Bad Luck Brian, or drop rate depends on skill

I had to go through a total of 24 digsites and 12 spirits to complete this.

#1 off a wisp
#2+3 from a digsite
#4 off a wisp
#5 from a digsite
#6 off a wisp

19 solves in total; which also netted my last pristine for the race.

All in all fifty-fifty on the wisp vs. digsite ratio; probably not the luckiest or the worst, but the drop rate ought to be looked into as it feels low.

Does anyone know if this is related to skill level. I've been doing archaeology for the better part of 2 hours and not a single gem yet. I am only skill level 553 so I'm wondering if all the folks who posted that they got the gems were in the 700s?

Important theory that I noticed.
Now I'm not 100% sure but there is always 1 site with the jewel.
It leads to 2 case scenario.

1. You finish a site without finding any jewel, ignore the next site that pop, go to either one of the 2 sites that were there before.
2. You found a jewel, finish that site, and go to the newly pop'd site, ignore the other 2 sites.

Further testing needed

Obtainable while on Au milieu des décombres, 3rd quest in a chain that starts with Un butin qui vaut son pesant d’or (currently showing as Alliance, but available to both factions).

Excluding outliers, the consistencies so far seem to be "low chance" and "around 2 hours to complete" - good luck!

Just complete 68 artifacts before finally getting my 6th jewel...never again. 3 hours between the 5th and 6th one.

BIG TIP

I was having horrible luck with this quest. I had completed about 20 digsites with ZERO quest item drops. I decided to drop the quest and pick it back up. I've now completed four digsites with 3/6 quest progress.

If you have no quest progress after having completed several digsites, I would strongly recommend dropping the quest and picking it back up.

I don't know if I was extremely lucky but I got one from my first digsite and then 5 from the second (elite) digsite. Completed the quest within 10 minutes.
