I just wanted to add, if you're a level 70 who's just picked up herbalism and you have already purchased your epic mount, as soon as you can start collecting this, hearth and go to HFP. Its entirely faster than any herbalism leveling guide can do for you. You can also collect Dreamfoil out there as well and as soon as you hit 300 you can start on the Felweed.

You can also find tons of Golden Sansam in Swamp of Sorrows, along with boatloads of Sorrowmoss. Nice herbing in a concentrated area with little competition or aggravation.

Confirmed, I found alot of golden sansam and sorrowmoss at Swamp of Sorrows. After 20 mins of farming I got golden sansam x72 and sorrowmoss x100.

Evidently these also grow in outland, as I just picked one in Zangarmarsh.

Despite the listed mill rate, after milling a few hundred of these I have only ever received 2 or 3 pigment per mill, never 4.

A great abundance of these in Swamp of Sorrows. Best place I have found yet to farm this herb. You will also see Sorrowmoss is also very abundant here. Good luck!

I cant seem to find the alchemy receipes for this herb ... have they removed them ? ... i've got ton of these mats and no Alchemy to use them.

I went to Marais des Chagrins and picked these herbs, I went something like this. I was using a Flying mount (280%) so mobs around was no issue, and I picked Chagrinelle on the way.
My route: going from Stonard (I used a horde char) I went southwest and flew back and forth to cower most ground on least amount of time. Going north and doing slalom following the northwestern side of the map. Going west with the same slalom pattern to find more herbs. Flying past Splinterspear junction and down to the small pool, I went east towards Stonard with the "normal" slalom pattern.

After about 1½-2 hour I got about 17 stacks of Sansam. I milled it all and got the following:
2x Pigment argenté = 31 times gave me 62 pigment
3x Pigment argenté = 37 times gave me 111 pigment

1x Pigment saphir = 16 times gave me 16 pigment

Total 173 Pigment argenté, 16 Pigment saphir

My basic herbalism skill had to be 260 before I stopped getting Golden Sansam Leaf in lieu of the actual herb itself.
