Both Fibril recipes drop off your learned list fast. I don't know why but very frustrating! If you get it make a bunch before it bugs

I got it after approx 250 kills from Misthollow Hunter
as you can see in the picture I had 429 leyblood by the time I got the recipe

I wanted to add that I looted this off of something in the Moonguard Stronghold while I was doing the quests there. I tried to scroll back through my combat logs to see if I could see what NPC I had killed at the time I looted the formula, but my logs wouldn't scroll back as far as my chat logs. I am fairly certain there are no Chasseur brumeval in the stronghold though. I tried purposely farming for this on the cats with no luck lol, glad it dropped off something though.

Had this drop after getting 335 leyblood's worth of kills. Thankfully I also picked up the recipe for leybarbeque ribs, so I should be set on crit food for a while.

This route was really easy and yielded a lot of kills/time:

Start at Meredil.
Head south/southeast to the big group of sleeping/patrolling cats behind the bridge. There's 7 here.
Cross the river east towards the road. There are 2 patrolling cats and one asleep by a tree here, and then just north heading back to Meredil on the road is another patrolling and another sleeping cat.
Head northwest following the road but turn right before crossing the bridge. There's three cats here around this tree, and another on the other side of this pathway.
Head northeast into Anora's Hollow. Try to round up the ~8 cats that are standing/sleeping in this big circle and aoe them down (if you're a class that can do this).
Leave Anora's Hollow through the ravine in the northeast, toward's the river. There's two cats here along with Myonix.
Cross the river and head up the path/hill northeast, killing the three or four cats along there.
Flight Master's whistle here should take you back to Meredil and repeat.

Took about an hour of grinding kittens in suramar to pop the recipe. So it looks to pretty consistently drop from catmobs.

The other comments pretty much all recommend the Chasseur brumeval, but the Rôdeur des fourrés in eastern Suramar are more densely packed, making it easier to group them up and AOE them down. There are useless mobs in your way in either case (turtles or Nightborne), but with all of the extra gear available now, I imagine most people won't want to kill things two or three at a time.

A great place to farm is around the Crimson Thicket where the Nightborne Trappers and the various cat mobs hang out. Both the Trappers and cat mobs have a chance to drop the recipe. I spent about 15 minutes farming there and got the it. My coords for the area are 61, 46. There is also a rare that pats around the area who drops the recipe as well - Pashya.

Farmed Rôdeur des fourrés as 960+ ilvl (one shoting every mob) guy with flying it took more than an hour. I had to wait for mobs to spawn between kills due to spawn timer. Farmed 462 Leybloods while doing this and it droped from Chasse-mana des fourrés

Not sure if the drop rate has improved or I was just very lucky but I only had to kill about 30 thicket hunters to get the drop. Good luck!

I flew between Misthollow Hunters and Thicket Hunters for around an hour before the formula finally dropped for me. I wasn't tracking kills, but I ended with around 432 Leyblood.

Misthollow Hunter dropped way quicker for me. 1 Route and call it about 5 route/spawn
