A very efficient way of getting this to drop is to wait until the world quest A Jarl's Feast is up.

What you need to do is choose to "Insult" every vrykul in the area and aoe them down.
Personally, it took me only 3 rounds of pulling every vrykul in the quest area for my Singed Letter to drop.

If A Jarl's Feast isn't up, you can purge the Murlocs in Morhiem. They drop all three letters. Crumpled Request, Fevered Request and Singed Letter.

Lettre roussie dropped quite fast when killing Broie-coque pincepierre in Stormheim.
They only appear whith the World Quest : Pince-moi, je rêve !

I got it also from the Bilgefin Murlocs in the far west of Stormheim.

Was able to loot this and the other two First Aid quest items from Stormheim farming Envahisseur baille-nageoire and their kin in eastern Stormheim.

It dropped for me from murlocs in Morheim after 6 hours of farming.

30 minutes of farming the Bonespeakers at 68,51 in Stormheim in a 5-man group got me this item.

Having just finished Field Medic two days ago after weeks of grinding out the last two drops I needed .... I just got this off a pack of seagulls on the southeastern coast. I was headed south to Helarjar Landing Vrekt and decided to nuke both the direbeaks and flocks of seagulls for eggs to give to Nomi ~~to burn~~ for food work orders ... as I do pretty much any time I'm in the area.

As you can see in this screenshot I am nowhere near any humanoids. I am absolutely not recommending these seagulls as a potential farming location - but to get it from a mob that it's basically statistically impossible to have drop it, less than a week after finishing my grind? Infuriating.

I was rather surprised when this dropped a few minutes ago from the murlocs in Aszuna, while the PVP quest Operation Murloc Freedom was up (I was expecting the Singed Note, to be honest...). Not the most efficient way to farm it for sure, but do remember to loot any murloc in any zone if this is one you're still missing for Field Medic.
