La solution est donnée dans les commentaires anglais, pour ceux qui veulent se faire une idée j ai eu le premier lien au bout de 10 tentatives dans le repaire de Neltharion et pour le deuxieme ,au bout de 6 tentatives dans le caveau des gardiennes.(ne pas oublier d aller parler au dragon au sud de tornheim entre les deux car plusieurs disent qu il faut la quete pour la 2eme partie).Perso j avais la quête quand je suis allée au caveau.

While I haven't located where it is, I can definitely tell you where it isn't. I tried Throne of the Four Winds and it isn't there.

So far, a friend of mine has found a few of the other artifact re-skins and they're all located in Broken Isles locations (2, so far, from vendors), 1 is from drops. My guess is, if this is an exception, Molten Core would be the next place to check if it wasn't on Broken Isles (as that's what the NPC in Silithus otherwise says for the legacy Thunderfury).

But, odds are it is somewhere within Broken Isles.

Seeing as the icon for this item is called "inv_sword_1h_artifactskywall_d_06" and isn't used for anything other than this item, I'd assume it to either be located in Throne of the Four Winds or in Vortex Pinnacle.

INFO: Dont waste your time doing old content! No other class and spec have to make old content for hidden skin. Only legion content is involved for hidden skins!

Seem that Neltharions Lair HC/M Endboss drop the left binding and unknown Dungeon HC/M drop the right binding.
(Maybe Eye of Aszhara will drop the right binding because endboss is an elemental)

We have to figure it out and do dungeons and dungeons and dungeons...

PS: It seem that all classes have one spec which have to do dungeon, raid or world boss to optain the hidden skin. Assa and Sub Spec dont have to do dungeon, raid or world boss.

So, I just found this quest:], which seems to be the old quest for this skin.

From the quest we can gather that you had to bring both halfs and some Infernal Brimstones to Thrymjaris, a NPC in Stormheim.

The quest text says the following: 'You bring the cursed bindings of Ragnaros to this place. Speak your intent, <race>.".

I don't know if this information is any useful, since it was marked outdated by Blizzard.

I went to Silithus where thunderaan was originally located, there you find a guy who tells the story of Ragnaros defeating thunderaan and consuming him. He couldn't consume him fully so he split the rest into two pieces and gave them to Garr and Geddon his lieutenants. Not 100% if this is a step in getting our hidden appearance but I hope it helps someone find the next step. Very interesting story so it was worth the read even if its not a step. :D Garr and Geddon are from Molten Core, Ragnaros from both MC and Firelands.

You need to reach Artifact Knowledge level 5.
Left binding drops from Dargrul in Repaire de Neltharion (not 100% chance) once you have Tribu de Haut-Roc exalted (reputation is still unconfirmed).
Right drops from Scor’roc in Caveau des Gardiennes (not 100% chance) (still unconfirmed if this requires certain reputation or higher levels of Artifact Knowledge).

All this looks like some kind of dialogue with someone. It would seem that we somehow acquire one binding, and then get a quest to find the other one and some kind of ore, kind of like for original Thunderfury. Still no hint about how to get the first one. We'll see, I guess.

Updated (13.09.2016): one of the posters on mmo-c found a broadcast text (Broadcast_text ID# 119150) with possible hint.
The text is as follows:

You possess a powerful binding from the Firelord's kin. These are no toys, $r. Bindings such as these threaten even the great elemental lords. They are unspeakably dangerous to possess.

Do you seek to imprison the Windlord with these bindings? Or do you have some other intent?

So, Firelord's kin. Ash'Golm seems like the obvious answer, given previous hints to the vault. But no one reported anything drop from him yet, so we might still be missing a trigger of some kind.

GM responded that "the final item is obtainable, but you'll have to wait a little because of a small phasing problem". Might be that we can't obtain the items yet because it's bugged somehow and is about to be fixed soon? GM also pointed out that some info may pop up on official website, so hotfix theory sounds good so far. This could also mean that the item will become obtainable once raids and world bosses become avaliable (Sep 21st). Still, other leads might be worth checking out :)

GM suggested looking in the Vault. Now, the first thing that comes to mind is Vault of Lei Shen because that's how you get hidden appearance for subtlety.
I personally think that this was actually a hint to Caveau des Gardiennes! Seems plausible, because it's intended to hold all sorts of dangerous creatures and tooltip text on Liens du seigneur des Vents and Liens du seigneur des Vents actually references a "prison intended for Thunderaan the Windlord", which may very well be in the vault. I'll try to check on this theory.

UPDATE: Another player on Russian realms posted a question to the GM, and here's the answer he got:
Rough translation is:

The info about hidden appearance is secret, by the thousand medusas under my keel! Hold your sails aligned with the wind in order not to miss important info in community (on forums and fan-sites), or in-game, and your desired reward won't get past you!

Medusas (jellyfish) under the keel and sails on the wind seem like an obvious reference to some kind of ship, maybe? Also the phrasing seems to suggest that the correct answer is already posted somewhere, but just been dismissed.

I've been trying to collect bits and pieces about this artifact appearance and here's what I found:

It is assumed that this is not a random drop, because someone would have obtained it by now and shared the info.
Apparently, there's a character that now has this appearance on live due to a bug: Cisky.
He explained in a thread on MMO-Champion that his rogue character is bugged after a character transfer went wrong. Most of the quests are marked as completed, thus it's quite hard for him to level. Most likely artifact appearances are tied to hidden tracking quests, and he has those completed.
Thanks to him, we now know for sure that Thunderfury, Hallowed Blade of the Windlord sheathes on the back.
Cisky having this appearance is clearly due to a bug becase a) he doesn't have the achievement (Potentiel caché) for collecting hidden artifact appearance and b) he also has access to The Fencer's Reach appearance which was confirmed by devs to only be obtainable in the future patch.
As noted in other comment, related items seem to be Liens du seigneur des Vents and Liens du seigneur des Vents.
Another comment here points out that some Chineese player somehow managed to get a drop. This was during beta and there's been no confirmation of this.
There's been some speculation that obtaining this appearance requires using of Outlaw-only abilities like Grappin, Pourparlers or . Also, it's speculated that using Détection somewhere in the world can reveal clues to unlocking this appearance.
Several players wrote a ticket to support and confirmed that this is indeed obtainable and can be found in new zones and not in the old ones:
1) One - the word "drop" here actually seems suspicious, although it's probably nothing.
2) Two - some people speculated that "MOAR" may be a hint to Falaises de l’embouchure de Hel because "MOAR" sounds like "Maw".
There were some ideas that this can somehow be related to shaman and/or shaman class hall, like sneaking into shaman class hall somehow and stealing the bindings.
There are also crazier things that people tried to do, like exploring small islands around the Broken Isles or trying to get to the higher parts of Stormheim and getting hit by a lightning.

All in all, this is an interesting puzzle

I didn't see anyone mention it here yet but in front of Rage-Gueule there is a dead gnome who was carrying Lame-tonnerre, épée bénie du Cherchevent.
I'd say that could be a potential place where to look for the hidden skin.

So I decided to take a different approach I looked in the "class hall vault" where the forge is for our artifact weapons.. while looking at that there is 3 distinctive areas the one I picked was a painting that looks like the sea off of Jandvik in Suramar...A chest with what looked like a angler fish next to it. Next to that was a crystal mana chunk indicating Suramar.. So tell me what you think is this a possible lead?

With the discovery of the Corrupted Ashbringer appearance on beta requiring a high artifact knowledge level and starting from old world, it should be safe to assume ~~a similar requirement~~starting from old world has been put in place for ~~Windfury~~Thunderfury (as they are both considered 'Legends' from Vanilla).

Time to dig through old lore posts about ~~Windfury~~Thunderfury...

Edited: Damn, apparently staying up at four in the morning messes up with your mind.
Edited: On second thought, given the lore between the Dreadblades and Thunderfury are so different from the Ashbringer and its corrupted version, slapping an AK requirement there just doesn't make much sense atm.

Given that someone said GMs mentioned both a Vault and a phasing issue, could it be tied to the Harbingers quest? The cursed tome used to be stuck behind a phasing issue for horde players, while the fel tome is found in the Vault of the Wardens.

Just an idea.

I also cleared Heroic Vault with thunderfury in my bags, nothing.

It seems to drop from the last boss from Neltharion's lair on mythic. It is confirmed by this player who has it in this video. A player in Chinese realm has been confirmed receiving the left half of the quest item.

As he told us, he got the item on LAST BOSS of Mythic Neltharion's lair. This is probably the first item around the world.

Firstly you probably need LEVEL4 Artifact Research for the drop. Secondly other people tried and none of them got the item, indicating that it was probably a low rate drop. Also people were discussing the quest drop is probably related to your reputation with Highmountain Tribe. ( He was exalted with it)

I was in a Heroic Emerald Nightmare group earlier today and our rogue had the skin. He stated that he had to do Mythic+10 after achieving Artifact Knowledge 5. I don't currently play a rogue, but I know everyone is scrambling for information on their hidden artifact skins so I wanted to give what information I could. I saw this rogue loot a binding tonight from Scor’roc in normal Caveau des Gardiennes. A fellow party member inquired how many runs it took and Jibblez repsonded with 15. As you can see from his armory page he is currently not exalted with the Tribu de Haut-Roc. So apparently these are not gated behind exalted reputation with any specific faction.

A second rogue joined the group recently and also looted a binding after a couple of runs. Also not currently exalted with the Tribu de Haut-Roc.

My guildmate just looted his first bindings from Dargrul after about 50 kills on normal difficulty.

Got both bindings in normal difficulty with all-rogue farming groups, skipping all bosses to Dargrul in NL, and skipping first two bosses in VOTW to Ash'golm. Took 33 runs to get the right binding and 59 runs for left binding.

If you are like me and never actually received the quest from either binding, you can do the following..

To complete the quest you will need both bindings and x10

Obtain right binding (from Ash'golm in Vault of Wardens) and/or left binding (from Dargrul in Neltharion's Lair)
Fly to Cullen's Post (if you are horde) in Stormheim or Lorna's Watch (if you are alliance)
Speak to Vethir and choose the option to go to the top of Thorim's Peak
Once on the peak, and speak with Thrymjaris and choose the second option to start the dialog concerning the windlord

~~Note that artifact power of 5 and 6 are required to get each binding,~~ (no longer required) but there is no reputation requirement. The droprate for each binding is very low so if you meet the requirements to loot them and have artifact appearances unlocked don't worry and keep on farming. If you are unable to loot one of your bindings when they drop, they will be sent to you in the mail (this is how I looted one of mine) like any other item.

I didnt know that you can start the quest with one binding, but I ended up farming them both on the same night. I talked to the dragon on top of the mountain and chose the chat option that said something about the Thunderlord should be afraid of me and she didnt like that very much... now I can't figure out what to do. There is no option for me to talk to her again. I relogged and nothing. I have all the items needed for them in my bags. Anyone have any ideas...because I'm about to shoot my computer with a shotgun..lol

Pretty sure this is a glitch and I'm not sure if it's specific for outlaw, rogues in general, or all classes/specs but I had unlocked the Subtlety and Assassination hidden appearances and yesterday I got the "Complete 200 WQ" appearance and now I can use the "Complete 200 WQ" appearance of Thunderfury when spec'd into Outlaw even though I never actually unlocked the hidden appearance.

I cannot, however, use the "normal" (blue) appearance of it. There's a lock on it and mousing over it shows no text.

I'm not saying I mind this happening because I wasn't patient enough to farm 2 dungeons for the 2 halves but I'm sure it's not intended.

Here 's how I got my Thunderfury pvp variation (purple) skin on 6 Nov 16 - EU Tarren Mill

1. Unlocked sub spec's secret skin for fangs of the devourer.
2. Did the 1000 battlerground pvp kills with fangs for their 'secret' red skin (if you transmog them into something else it doesn't matter, as long as u have the secret skin selected on the forge's appearance tab. -also there s a nice macro to keep track check srobins6 comment-
It seems that appearance slots (the secret's pvp one in this case) are shared through all artifacts.
3. Got exalted with Highmountain.

Got back to class hall, equipped dreablades and the new appearance was unlocked.

I still don't have any binding, and the default skin is locked, but the purple is the best looking one anyway : P

e.g. I'm way past artifact knowledge 5-6 (20+) and can't confirm any hint about that.

I got mine in Neltharian's Lair on mythic, first attempt, after spending a bunch of time running it on normal over and over and getting nothing.

This also could be because I had spent 5 trait points prior to the mythic run (I play assassin, so my outlaw spec has been neglected).

Can someone confirm that there is no reputation requirement for the left binding from Dargrul in Neltharion's Lair.
I got the right binding from ash'golm after 30 runs but now i am starting to consider if there is a rep involved with natharion's lair drop, i am still Honored with Highmountain and its my alt so i dont have time to play too much :(

Got my right side from Vault a while back, random drop, so I wasn't expecting it. Today, I went into NL with another rogue on normal difficulty, skipped to the last boss, got it on my first try, just pure luck.... (never got it on any of the heroic/mythic runs I've done for months).

I was either incredibly lucky or they greatly increased the drop-rate for the bindings in 7.2 Got the binding from heroic VoW on my first time in there, and got the binding in NL after about 6 attempts. Good luck rogues!

I got lucky and looted the left binding from Neltharion's Lair yesterdays afternoon, and the right binding from Vault of the Wardens today.

Both items drop on normal difficulty as well, I used the LFG tool to find another fellow rogues and we skipped any trash we could, and any boss we could. 1 run took about 5-10 minutes. Got the left binding on my 10th Dargrul kill, and the right binding on the 8th Ash'golm kill.

Both respective reputations (Highmountain Tribe and Wardens) are not a criteria to loot the items, mine are currently on friendly.

This is not gated behind rep, but is gated behind the Stormheim quest chain. If you have not completed it Vethir will not speak to you, as well Thrymjaris will not be present at Thorim's Peak if you fly up there.

I think Blizzard buffed the drop rate in 7.3 (or maybe in 7.3.2), because i got them in Neltharion's Lair at the first try and in Vault of the Wardens at the second try. I did both on Mythic +5.
So i think the drop rate is now about 50-70%.

And i found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O81LJ9sID74. The guy says he and their friends got them at the first try.

What I find interesting is that the name of the icon says "Inv_sword_1h_artifactskywall_d_06" this "skywall" artifact is the Fist of the Hevens which I think in early development of legion this appearance was attended for monks

alas they probably changed it because it would have been a artifact weapon that changed weapon type

Al-tho warriors have two weapons that change so i think blizz just hate monks (salty monk main is salty)

Didn't see any comments about how to obtain this on an alt or a toon you haven't quested on, but is 110.

1. You must choose Stormheim as a strike point from your mission table
2. Do the Scenario
3. Do the ~6 quests at the Cove of Nashal ending with Un trophée des plus funestes
4. Turn in Les épreuves antiques and do L’épreuve de Havi
5. Follow the quest chain from Havi ending with D’une courte tête
6. Then you can pick up the quests from Tête de Yotnar and follow chain leading up to Le domaine des dragons
7. You do not need to complete Sur les ailes du tonnerre !, just fly back down to Cullen's Post and Vethir will be there

At that point Vethir will be available at Cullen's Point and you can complete your hidden artifact skin.

Took about 30 minutes to do with flying.

So I recently got all the items for the hidden appearance and got to the stage where I get the 20 hour "Pissed Off Dragon" buff for the wrong dialogue (WTF!). I know your all not going to like what I say about this but...

I have to say I'm mighty £*^$$£ off at Blizzard for this. I like a lot of players have lots of alts and 20 hours of gameplay on THIS CHARACTER ONLY this late on in the expansion cycle is a massive time commitment which I feel is unjustified. Lets face it the game is getting no new content now and Argus was as boring as £%$" after the first few months of dailies (MoP anyone?) and the final raid is also boring now since its at least a month in.

I just want to be able to login, play a bit on each character when I want and I have to admit that I'm now going to unsubscribe after this crap. I could have stomached it if it was 20 hours on my account like most buffs/debuffs work but this is just too much, but 20 hours is about 4-5 months of time I would play on my Rogue!, I even checked with GM about it and is correct, oh well a few months sooner on the unsub, sigh.

Just in case any rogues are wondering, yes, normal dungeons are completely soloable at this point in the expansion. I took a break from the game starting in October, so I missed this raid tier. My raid team had already called it quits until the next expansion by the time I came back. I'm in last tier's heroic raid gear, which is the equivalent of this tier's LFR gear. I'm ilvl 934 and Assassination spec. I specced into leech poison, but everything else is the cookie cutter Assassination Master Poison build. (1121111). My legendaries are the Shoulders and Bracers, but I believe the legendaries to be trivial and you can probably use any combination that you see fit. Veleera's pants and Prydaz, for instance, will make you virtually unkillable. With leech poison and Crimson Vial, you already have more than enough healing, so I'd choose DPS legendaries if you can.

Vault of the Wardens is the quickest to farm. You can stealth past all of the trivial mobs, stopping to kill two required to open the doors to go further into the dungeon, the Demon Hunter in the first room, and the Imp Mother after the first boss. The bosses themselves are a cake walk. After you kill Ash'Golm, just run back out the entrance, reset the instance, and do it again until you get the right half of the bindings.

Neltharion's Lair takes a little longer because you have to kill Dargrul, who is the last boss of the instance. Also, the only way to exit is through the side door after you complete it, which exits you on the back side of the mountain. Again, you can completely stealth through all of the mobs here. When I got to Ularogg, I did make sure to clear out a few of the mob packs before engaging the boss. It just makes it a little easier. On the worm boss, I ignored all of the adds leading to the boss. With Dargrul, you will have to clear the adds in front of him because they will aggro if you engage the boss without killing them.

Vault took me about 6-8 minutes to clear, while Neltharion's Lair took me about 10 minutes to clear. On both dungeons, the bindings dropped on my 4th run. Hope this helps anyone looking to solo this.

Since a lot of the information regarding this hidden appearance is spread out amongst several posts and a lot of the posts have outdated or partial information, I thought I'd just do a tl;dr for those looking to get this appearance after 7.3.5 like I did.

Prerequisites:
You must have completed the Stormheim questline up to and including Le domaine des dragons so you can interact with Thrymjaris and pick up a quest later.

Part 1 - Obtaining the Bindings:
The right half of the binding Liens du seigneur des Vents drops from Scor’roc, the third boss in Vault of the Wardens on all three difficulties and in any spec.
The left half of the binding Liens du seigneur des Vents drops from Dargrul, the last boss of Neltharion's Lair on all three difficulties and in any spec.

As an item level 927 Assassination rogue (with talent ring & cloak legendaries), I was able to solo both of these dungeons on normal with relative ease. For VotW, you need to kill the demon hunter mini-boss in the first room, the first boss, the imp mother mini-boss in the next room and the second boss before you can kill Ash'Golm. I generally used a Prolonged Power pot on the second boss as damage can get a bit high. The rest of the trash can be skipped with stealth. For NL you need to kill all bosses in order to progress through the dungeon. Luckily they're not too much of an issue, although again I used a pot for the third boss just to kill it before the Spiked Tongue cast. All trash can again be skipped, although I killed three packs in the room with the second boss just to give myself some room. A run of VotW took about 8-10 mins and the item dropped on my second run, whilst a run of NL took about 12-14 mins and the item dropped on my fifth run.

Part 2 - Obtaining the Appearance:
Once you have both bindings you also need to get 10x Soufre infernal for the quest you'll pick up next. Go to '40.8, 80.8' in Stormheim and speak to Thrymjaris. You MUST be in Outlaw spec when you speak to her in order to get two sets of dialog speeches. You need to select the bottom of the two dialogs and follow the conversation through to the end and then a quest will become available to you. Hand this quest in immediately (as you'll already have all the items) and pick up the next one. The dragon will summon Thunderaan and a short conversation will take place, which upon completion will allow you to hand in the quest and obtain the hidden appearance.

In case you faction changed and Thrymjaris isnt there, you might have to go to the Violet Citadel in Dalaran and talk to Nathanos Blightcaller to re-do the Stormheim questline up to the point where you finish "Where Dragons Rule".

Battle for Azeroth Prepatch Update:

Both Items are still obtainable on normal difficulty, but no 100% drop chance.

I was able to solo both dungeons on normal difficulty with an itemlevel of 204 and Outlaw spec. Legendaries I used were Mantle of the Master Assassin and Will of Valeera. Neltharion's Lair is really easy, nothing will kill you except for maybe the wurm boss if you have bad gear. Vault on the other hand is a real pain, and unless you have really good gear, I advise you using healing legendaries.

I found both items on the first clear, went back and helped a friend out who wasn't quite as geared and lucky with the drops as me. Running with two people makes it really easy, about 5minutes per Nelth run and no close calls on any boss. Vault takes a little longer, ~15minutes if you kill every boss on the first try.

Rokmora is easy, if you get low just use Cloak / Riposte and he can't damage you. Blade Flurry if you get to many adds.

Ularogg the Cragshaper is relatively easy as well. Clear his room first. His Sunder can hit pretty hard, but you can use Cloak to avoid any damage. Strike of the Mountain (moving hands) has to be dodged, as it can almost one-shot you.

Naraxas is the hardest of all four bosses. Kill the little wurm packs first. Dodge as many ground effects as possible, use Cloak when you take to much damage from the poison dot, and kill the adds. I ran with Marked for Death, so I was able to one-shot them with Dispatch. Use drums here if you have them.

Dargrul the Underking is by far the easiest. Kill both scorpion packs first. He doesn't deal any damage apart from his Landslide, which can be Cloaked. Try not to get knocked into the lava by any of his abilities (Landslide, Molten Crash & Crystal Spikes). Use one Crystal Spike wall to stun the Golem, and cleave it down with Blade Flurry. Unless your damage is low, you won't get to Magma Wave. Just to be save, you can save one Crystal Spike wall and hug it when he casts Magma Wave.

Glayvianna (1st miniboss in Vault) hits like a god damn truck. Just use every cooldown you have. Unfortunately, you have to kill her for the doors to open up.

Tirathon Saltheril is really hard. You need some form of healing, preferably both Will of Valeera and Prydaz. Grand Melee (Roll the Bones buff) helps as well, providing 25% leech. I did it with Will of Valeera and Grand Melee only. 1st phase is easy. Tank meta is annoying, but you shouldn't be dying here as well. Havoc Meta is when things get interesting. Pop every dps cooldown you have, pray for good rolls, and use Cloak, and Riposte after. Immolation Aura hurts when you take to long to kill him. If he starts casting Hatred, get in max melee range and dodge the beam when it starts moving. While casting his beam, you have quite a lot of time where he deals no damage apart from the Immolation Aura. Always interupt his Furious Blast, but make sure he doesn't have an absorb shield when in Tank meta, I don't think you can interupt it through the shield. This will kill you for sure. If you have troubles killing him, and don't have anyone to help you, buy drums, and kill trash until you get a 5 roll. Vanish and sprint to the boss, and immediately attack him. This will provide you with insane damage and healing through Grand Melee for a relatively long period of time. It's super cheesy tho, and might take more than 5 minutes to achieve. Marked for Death is king here.

Foul Mother (2nd miniboss in Vault) is free. Just stealth to her, pop Blade Flurry and kill her. Imps just die from melees and Blade Rush.

Inquisitor Tormentorum is not quite as hard as the first one, but still respectable when doing solo. Healing legendaries advised. Interupt his Sap Soul at the end of the cast, so you have more time where he deals no damage. When he teleports away, sit behind the wall where you start the fight and wait for the adds & boss to come to you. He'll most likely cast Sap Soul here, which you won't be able to interupt. Wait for the first enemy to approach the ramp, and pop Blade Flurry. This will get rid of the debuff, and you'll need it anyway to kill the adds. Don't worry about the cooldown, you won't need more than 2 charges anyway. Prisoners: Lingering Corruption is easy. Stay on the boss, and cleave them down. Pop Cloak when all of them are dead to get rid of the Debuff. Shadowmoon Orcs are super annoying. Focus down the Technician and Warlock after. The Fel Guard will stun you, but you can stun it with Between the Eyes at the start and cleave it down while focusing the other two. Definitely use Riposte here, as the melee hits from both the Boss and the Felguard hurt alot combined. I'm not sure if you can use Blind on it, I'm human so I just tanked the stun and used my racial. If you can use Blind, definitely do it. I didn't encounter both Faceless and Mogu'shan packs, but I imagine the latter being stressful as hell. IIRC, they won't come up the ramp and just throw stones at you.

Dreadlord Mendacius is the 3rd miniboss I choose to kill over the Shivarra, mainly due to the fact that you can blind his add, and cloak the meteor. Feel free to try the other one, if you have to run the dungeon multiple times.
Ash'golm is easy compared to the other two, but still harder than any of the bosses in Neltharions Lair. His melee attacks are his most dangerous source of damage. Grand Melee is again the best roll you can get. Pop Riposte at the start of the fight, kite him to one of the owl statues and click them asap. Pop every damage cooldown, and deal as much damage as possible to him while frozen. Don't get knocked down if he freezes. Kill the Fire Elementals, use Cloak either defensively when you can't kill one, or to clear the lava. Keep an eye on your timers so you can freeze him again asap. Pray for the item to drop, you'd much rather run nelth 10 times than vault twice.

Please note that I just came back from a ~8month break, so I was pretty rusty, and didn't use any consumables (flask, food, potions, drums). Would probably be a lot easier if I had any idea of how my class works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

So i am having a bit of an issue here. i obtained both bindings and have 10 infernals but when i fly to the peaki do not see the dragon who gives me the quest line. i am also 8/8 complete in my stormhiem sotryline but Thrymjaris is still locked up in the cave. how in the world do i get this quest to get everything going. and why is it that when i see Vethir he has no quests for me. is there someone else i get the quests from? i see him in 3 locations and none of them he has any quests for me.

Got the one from Neltharion's Lair on run #2 and Vault on run #7.

Had loot & talents set to outlaw and had Dreadblades equipped incase they wouldn't drop without them equipped.

BFA: Can anyone confirm if you can obtain these without an artifact weapon? Without AK being a thing anymore, and being able to use artifact skins without actually having an artifact, this could be plausible, but I am not sure myself.

This intro is started on your scouting map, and then in Violet Citadel. Nathanos Blightcaller has a quest, The Warchief Beckons, which leads you through a portal behind him and then has you attack some ships.

No dragons to talk to? Nothing to pick from your "strike map", but you have both bindings and brimstones etc. etc....?

You need to pick up the "Royal Summon"ish-quest from the admiral lady in the Violet-room where Khadgar is (Dalaran - Legion).
Jump through the portal, follow the questline and somewhere down the road you'll be able to talk to the dragons :)

Not sure if it was just me but the bindings were not dropping over quite a few runs.

Changed my weapon to the old Legion Dreadblades and the bindings dropped first run on each dungeon.

Could have just been random coincidence, but I would suggest using the Legion weapon just in case.

I had to go out of my way here to help ANYONE that never played a rogue in Legion like myself. Not sure if it matters but I also played every bit of Legion as Alliance.

This was a BFA Horde 110 boosted rogue.

1. follow the steps to start the legion artifact questline in your ORDER HALL.
2. Next, I did both dungeons on mythic difficulty and got both of the bindings first try.
3. Here's the tricky part. There was A LOT of misleading info since everyones' posts were all done at different times. To receive the quest to go talk to Nathanos Blightcaller in Violet Citadel, the NPC that now gives this quest is located in Stormheim at 30.27, 40.60 (make sure you have low level quests on to show).
4. There is a portal next to this questgiver which takes you Dalaran and gives you "The Warchief Beckons" quest and starts the scenario.

From there you can follow other posts.

Like i really dunno what i am doing wrong, but have Stormheim completed, story lines too, have 2 shards + Internal Brimstone 10x and still when i am trying to talk with Thrymjaris she says "Speak with me when u have finished ur business here etc........" Like i tried to pop up arena 2x and it's not working for me. She doesn't wanna give me option to alk with her

I just ran Neltharian's Lair on Mythic using BFA swords and the bindings didn't drop so I ran it again on heroic but with Dreadblades equipped for Dargrul and they still didn't drop so the good news is that having them equipped doesn't seem to be a factor.

Got both Liens du seigneur des Vents 17/11/20

Vault of the wardens took two clears
Neltharion's Lair took only one clear

Did both on normal difficulty.

You have to complete chapters 3/8 up until "The Trial of Might" which ends with you receiving the gift from Thrymjaris.

On a fresh alt or main that hasen't quested in Stormheim I had pick up the quest to talk to Nathanos and do the intro event on the boat, just follow the quests as they come to you then you'll eventually up at Thrymjaris.

I somehow doesnt have my dreadblades in my bank or inventory but i can transmog to them so i cant understand why i cant get them back. and do i even need them in bag/bank to get hidden artifact since i can transmog them? As i understands it, i have the dreadblades (outlaw) artifact as i can transmog them or am i wrong?

Do i have to do something else or is there anyway i can get them back to my bag atm?

Hello! I am a returning player back to WoW: Shadowlands. It is currently 9.0.5, is it still possible to get this? I've been trying for a long time and it hasn't been dropping in the dungeons for the bindings.

For anyone wondering exactly how high you need to be to solo the dungeons here in Shadowlands, the answer is, "Not very." I got my rogue to level 52 and item level 80 (bought some timewalking L90 gear and did a handful of quests on Threads of Fate), joined a covenant (Venthyr since Door helps with the grapple bypass route). I made sure to do my Rogue class hall intro so I had the Dreadblades.

I went into Neltharion's Lair on Normal and was able to kill all the bosses in about 10 seconds. I'd go so far as to say it's not worth grappling past the first one, he dies so fast and making that particular jump is a pain. Second and third arguably it's a little faster to go the grapple route, and Door of Shadows (if Venth) can be used in a few spots. Took me 3 kills to get the Bindings.

Same deal with Vault: everything dies real easy by L52 and iL80. No stress, just roll in, stealth past trash, nuke minibosses and bosses. A little longer here because you have to schlep back out (but you could always use an unequip/jump macro in Ashgolem's room, I guess) vs. Nelth's which has that real nice exit. No drop yet but it'll happen soon enough.

Hey ya'll. I've been going back to Legion and getting old appearances on my alts the last month or so. Here's my experience with this hidden skin:

My rep with the majority of the Legion factions is at Revered or lower (only paragon rep is Armies of Legionfall). I've done Balance of Power on my rogue as well.

I killed Ash'golm in Vault of the Wardens (N) 9 times before the right binding dropped.

I killed Dargrul in Neltharion's Lair (N) 3 times before the left binding dropped.

These kills were only counted once I started trying to get the appearance - I've done each of these dungeons a few times when Legion was current, and when doing the Balance of Power questline.

Ran all of these on a 266 rogue while specced Outlaw and both dungeons were ~5 mins to get to the bosses, not too bad.
