I will add. I have had 2 of these in my bank since season 1-2. I have held on to them with the idea that I'll use them before Legion's end. The point of holding on to them has actually paid off once and I'm hoping for an even bigger payout in coming seasons.

If you recall, at the start of season 3 (which I believe was the release of 7.2), they nerfed the honor requirements per prestige. Prestige 1 requires half as much honor and every other prestige level went from requiring 50k (? I believe this is correct) to the current 40k. This means, had I used my stagnant 1k from Ecusson d'honneur, it would have advanced me 2% of a prestige level. Instead, it now would advance me 2.5% of a prestige level.

My hope is for a future nerf to honor required per prestige level and that these token will gain even more value while not actually changing in honor given.

*Words of Warning* Just because this has happened in seasons up until now does not mean that Blizzard won't nerf your existing tokens when they change seasons. I just thought I would share my findings so far.

Can confirm that this still drops from the Coffre de richesses du Séjour céleste.

Looted the chest eleven times this week, and received Ecusson d'honneur on three characters. Each badge awarded 1500 honor (Sign of Battle was active).

Think with this most recent patch they finally hotfixed it to where you can no longer use it outside of Skyhold :( Just tried to use one in Mechagon and Maldraxxus and it said "You are in the wrong zone." :( :( :(

Specifically, I was using it on a level 60 horde warrior.

If it says you're in the wrong zone, even while in Skyhold (comparing to previous comments), try going back to Dalaran. Worked for me going back there!

Probably as for 10.2.0 (tho I didn't checked back than) it's only usable in Dalaran (broken isles) Stormwind and Orgrimar.
