Enfin obtenue en Héroïque après 167 essais dans les 4 difficultés. C'est une monture qui tombe directement dans votre sac à la mort du boss, elle n'est pas à fouiller dans le cadavre du boss.

Doesn't seem like the drop rate isn't that bad, first kill two dropped in a raid of 18 people, second kill (for bonus rolls) saw 3 for 22 people. On normal btw.

It's personal loot. It will appear right in your inventory when you kill the boss, and cannot be traded.

Will drop in all difficulties.

Several mounts can drop in the same kill. The drop rate is not incredibly low: est. 5% based off other comments.(##RESPBREAK##)6152##DELIM##CalaelenDT##DELIM##

Just ran LFR on my Warlock (Arbent on Proudmoore) and can confirm this can drop in LFR. It's awarded the same way as a legendary (pops up as soon as the boss dies and directly into your bags.) Would submit a screenshot, but with all the achievements obtained, I would have to splice the pictures together and people would think I photoshopped it anyway.

If someone else gets this mount it won't show up for you in chat (at least in raid finder anyway) - so don't be surprised if you run it many times and don't see any drop.

Finally had it drop after 170 attempts on lfr. Been doing this wing of lfr on 12 alts each week since it came out, so you bet i was happy when it was finally over. I can therefore say, that it does NOT show up for others in the chat if you get it on lfr, though it does on other difficulties, as my raidmates got it during our nm and hc runs.

Edit: Tried to link my drop from rarity and the screenshot it takes, but im not allowed, so you just gotta take my word for it :)

Confirmed 09/22/17 This mount does drop on LFR. It was my first time doing the raid. Needless to say I was very excited. The mount it self is a deathly sort of Eel/Worm and floats around. My undead seems to hunch a bit on it, so no cool zoomed-in screens, but oh well. Overall, an awesome mount. Good Luck if you don't have it!

Apparently, this mount has a 5% drop chance, and only one will drop in the raid, going to a random person. I will do some math:
5% means a 1 in 20 chance of dropping. Let's see about raid size.
LFR: 25 players. 1 in 25 chance of a certain person getting it. That means 4%. 25 + 20 = 45. 100 divided by 45 = approx. 2.2%
Normal and Heroic: 30 players (I figured i'd go with the maximum flexible raid size). 1 in 30 chance, which means approx. 3.3% 30 + 20 = 50 100 divided by 50 = 2%
Mythic: 20 players. 1 in 20, 5% (seen above). 20 + 20 = 40 100 divided by 40 = 2.5%

Summary:
Has a 2.2% for you to obtain it in LFR.
Has a 2% for you to obtain it in Normal and Heroic. (assuming max raid size)
Has a 2.5% for you to obtain it in Mythic.

Now you know the likelihood of you getting the mount if it drops. Good luck. ;)

Ah, finally dropped! <3 On my holy priest, LFR, 5th run. In total I've done 14 runs, one on normal and rest on LFR, across 3 characters. I didn't loot the mount, it just appeared on my screen, "you received Abyss Worm". Good luck everyone, just have patience :)
~~I believe it is the recompense for still not having Flametalon :')~~ No longer accurate, Flametalon dropped next day! After approx. 200 runs :) So so happy!

Got this from LFR on like my 50th run or something, pretty sweet, just wanted to confirm that it still doesn't show up in chat/loot winners list that you got it. I said yay me in chat and some guy argued with me for like 5 minutes how I should stop lying, because he had seen it drop from LFR/Normal/Heroic before and it did show x'D sooo I dunno. but keep going people! (doing wing 1 on multiple chars every week helps a lot)

Got this mount yesterday in LFR on my mage, wanted to complete a raid mission from class hall.

It just appeared in my bags, no announcement in loot, nor any guild message that my character had obtained it.

Same model as the Riddler's Mind Worm if you want a cool looking mount but don't want to spend so much time farming a raid just complete the chain for the riddler i did it 2 days but realistically could be done in less time.
I am surprised wowhead hasn't added a same model section like i have seen on other mounts

Just got this, a few notes:
It did post in raid chat.
My guild did see that I got it.
I was the only one to get it in the raid ( I was top dps/damage for the 3 bosses in LFR ).
This was my 6th run.

Finally my hunt is over.
Looted it with my boosted char (thanks bfa pre order :D) Took 442 kills to get this mounts. Now "only" antoran charhound left (219 kills atm).

Good luck to those who are still farming it. I know LFR queue times are pain but dont give up!

Still drops in LFR as it did for me today. Wing is very easily soloable in BfA. Go to Archimage Timear and queue for The Gates of Hell. Good luck!

Just got it from normal version (solo). Before that did hc and lfr. So as you can see it haven't shared lockout. LFR and Normal pretty ez to do with chars who have ~430 gear. Pretty sure even 400 must be enough just slightly longer.

For those who didn't raid this during current content, the LFR wing you are looking for is called "The Gates of Hell." You can queue for legion LFRs by talking to Archimage Timear in front of Violet Hold in new Dalaran.

I can't confirm, but other Wowhead commenters are reporting that you can receive all of these items except Abyss Worm and Antoran Charhound from a Sceau du destin brisé bonus roll.

Doesn't seem to take too long for it to drop. Farm for this over 6 weeks on 14 characters. Dropped on my mage during LFR difficulty last night. But oddly, since my mage also died, the mount wasn't looted, it just appeared on screen?. I ress, and went to the loot the remaining items from the boss.

Finally got this bad boy at attempt 149th. For those wondering, the mount is not actually looted by the boss, it is instead pushed into your inventory with 1-2 seconds of the kill happening. Best of luck to everyone!

Its possible the droprate of this mount and the Charhound were nerfed by Blizzard. Like many posters on here, I noticed that 1 or 2 dropping per normal or heroic run was quite common when it was current. We've seen at least one other confirmed drop rate nerf; the Raie de la Grande mer

Can confirm that this does drop off regular difficulty and it is given as personal loot, not actually looted from the boss. You'll see a separate item tag pop up before you even loot the boss and it goes right into your bags.

I just got it after 392 total kills. It dropped on Heroic, after running LFR and Mythic on that character, and after running all difficulties on other characters.

It still drops. Try not to go insane.

Hey everyone, as someone who had seen this mount drop countless times for others when I was in raid groups, I was able to snag this baby up after my 91st attempt. Just the other day I got the Antoran Charhound in a raid group of 9 other people and the Felblaze Infernal about 5 days before that so I guess my RNG luck is all spent this year, but hopefully not! Don't give up, keep at it and it'll drop sooner rather than later.
Great looking mount, oh and hey it dropped on Heroic for me.

I have been mount farming on and off for a few years. I have been cursed on Invincible and after 5 toons a week for literally years I still have yet to get Invincible. I guess in a spiteful vengeance the wow gods decided to give me a bunch of other mounts I was not after. I got the Abyss Worm the first time I went through, and was only because I wasn't paying attention and was on the wrong side. Honestly didn't even know it was a reward. Shortly thereafter I got a the Timewalking dungeon Drake. And a couple others. Still haven't seen Invincible, the only one I freakin want

So as someone who has spent all those years farming one mount, just keep plugging away. But the drop percentages mean nothing. The worm's calculated percentage is .03%. Invincible is like .99%. I have beaten the Lich King hundreds, if not over a thousand times.

Dropped today after 18 mythic kills.

Managed to get it under 40 kills. Very lucky. My route is simple; Start LFR in dalaran, then fly out to the raid. Start normal and end mythic. When you kill the boss, make a group in custom and leave to get teleported out, 1 min break, then go in again.

Haft to be level 60 to do it Id think. Item level 200+ helps a lot too.

Dropped on my first run of ToS didn't even know a mount dropped from this boss! Couldn't believe when it said it was a .05% drop chance.

The mount is push loot.

You will also get it in the mail in case your inventory is full. :)
