While surveying for Au milieu des décombres, a Highborne Mass Grave object appeared on the ground. Clicking it spawned 3 Disturbed Highborne Spirits, with a total of 11.73M health. They dropped 3 Parchemin de Suramar ancien, two of these Marble Arrowheads, Fragments de poterie bien-née, the final Joyau d'Aellis, and 23 fragments.

I was also surveying for Au milieu des décombres, but a dig unearthing a Highbourne Archaeology Find also revealed a small purple gem beside it. The gem spawned a Highborne Spirit who responded with, "May Elune guide your soul, my son... <sigh>We lost him too soon." A second shining archaeology find spawned and clicking on it rewarded the Marble Arrowhead.

The gold value of former AP tokens was determined by the following:
Uncommon quality (green): 10 gold
Rare quality (blue): 25 gold
Epic quality (purple): 100 gold

The amount of AP in each token didn't matter, just the quality of the token itself.
Some tokens (such as those awarded from the Class Hall quests) do not follow this formula.

Edit: All AP tokens are now gray trash items.
