Ummmm, I think there is a mistake in En-cas de Nomi. What Blizzard may have intended would be something like this:

Nomi Smacks
Item Level 1
Use: Release a flurry of smacks upon Nomi, including Coup de patte, Coup à droite, Coup sur la tête and Rouste, thus "inspiring" him to cook more thoughtfully, successfully and with far less Nourriture carbonisée.
Max Stack: 20

-These drop randomly upon a completed work order with Nomi! Received my first one after 24 completed work orders - hope this helps!

Too bad they couldnt have spent the time they used creating this to actually fix Nomi so he's better designed (i.e. no bugs, no multiple recipes of the same kind, less rng, etc).

For those who really want to know what Nomi Snacks does...

1. You need to have at least 5 work orders in process with Nomi.
2. Click on the Nomi Snacks.
3. Click on work order table and you will get whatever 5 items he figures to give you (yes, the RNG gods odd sense of humor is very active in this so you could end up with recipes or fish, or junk).
4. Is it worth it? Yeah I think so. I got two lvl 2 recipes as well as fish and junk. Since we actually get the Snacks for free so to speak, why not.

I completed 5 Sang tellurique recipes with one of these, and I got a Rank 3 Recette : Terre et mer de Suramar.

This is super weird, since you can't get Surf and Turf from Leyblood.
It seems like this item has a chance of just randomly unlocking a recipe, just like Prepared Ingredients.

Can you get these after you know every recipe?

One of my characters has every recipe at 3 stars and has been feeding Nomi with eggs. She hasn't got any snacks while characters who still need recipes have got 1-3 each since these were introduced.

CAN be bought at the auction house but the price of them at the moment (about 1500g each on my server), is estimated to increase aggro towards Nomi by a bazillion percent.

Do NOT use these unless you've farmed all 10 light and large meals! Kinda hard to research level 2 if you don't have lvl 1. Same goes for expecting to research the feasts. You can't discover them unless you have at least 5 of either light(Hearty Feast) or large(Lavish Suramar Feast) recipes.

The cost on these things has come down but imo you still need to use them wisely. I am currently taking 4 toons all the way thru
Legion cooking and I have noticed that Nomi Snacks are decently good at generating level 1 and 2 recipes but not so good thereafter.
I stopped buying these once I reached the point where I am mainly looking for level 3 upgrades.
