obtenue sur PNJ "Incante-Tempete Throm" à Tornheim (dans la tours du camps d'Hrysdal) après lui avoir fais les poches puis tué 9 fois, le seul ennui est le temps de réapparition du pnj qui est de 6 mn entre chaque mort donc patience :D

I looted a total of 140,190 Coins of Air before I had the Glitzy Mana-Chain drop. I would recommend finding spots within Suramar City with a bunch of loyalists grouped up and then just tab > pickpocket > repeat. I was looting for about an hour before mine dropped, so just stay patient and it will drop eventually.

Just got my last piece, the Glitzy Mana-Chain, picking pockets in Azsuna on Khaz Modan at 58.78, 67.39 it gave me 2500 Coins of Air. Lots of Blacksail sailors around.

Got to the point of giving up and pushed through a bit more and finally got it off a blacksail keelhauler about the 4th time around Dead Man's Bay ( and after farming through tricksters, suramar and withered exiles) glad its finally over. Did get A LOT of food and A ^&*! TON of coins of air though.

The probability for this item dropping, much like the Subtle Chronometer (for me), is low so it won't technically matter what mob you're pickpocketing. I tried both the bandit pirates on the coast of Aszuna and the Withered north of Azurewing Repose, as recommended by previous comments, and I didn't get anything I needed from either for three hours straight-up farming. Went to Suramar's harbor and farmed everything there for two hours and no mana-chain, but you can still get tons of passionfruit tarts for your leisure.

My Glitzy Mana-Chain dropped off of a Withered Feral Scavenger located throughout the ruins of Tel'anor; easier than trying to dodge multiple stealth-seeking demons in Suramar City and you're competing with far less rogues in this open area. Not a guaranteed farming place for the chain, but it's where I looted it. Hope it helps you all!

So I pick every pocket. I use the sap / pickpocket macro. I had everything but the glitzy mana-chain. So i decided to start farming it.

Based on other comments farmed Northern Azuna Withered Exiles and Murlocs also around Suramar Withered and guards around the Cathedral in Broken Shore.

I found it at 63.47 , 30.45 south of the Cathedral !

This is all random.

After spending hours upon hours looking through all these comments and farming everything suggested here I finally gave up and just started questing. My lucky drop came from a Bitterbrine Venomer in Aszuna while working on the quest Shipwrecked Sailors.

Got 2 off of Blacksail Keelhauler after 24 picks.. I've been hunting this thing for 3 hours solid. Tried Murlocs, Withered Exiles and Naga prior with no luck.

Got this and the other epic one within 5 minutes of being in the pvp zone in North-West Azuna. About my 10th Murloc and BAM! Quest done.

First, let me say RNG is RNG. That having been said, let me also say that Blizzard devs are not kind to their players. I have leveled 2 rogues through Legion and on the first, I was lucky enough to get Chaîne de mana clinquante from a Order Hall Mission that I had sent Marin Brouillecaboche. I say fortunate because I had pickpocketed my way to more that 200K Pièces d’air by the time the mission provided the needed item.

However, the second rogue I have leveled is now at level 112 and still has not completed Le génie de la confection. My 2nd rogue has pickpocketed every type of NPC in the whole of Legion zones, dungeon instances, and raids. I have seen "no pockets to pick" and " this enemy has already had its pockets picked" so many times that I now see the words in my sleep. Still, no Chaîne de mana clinquante.

My 2nd rogue is approaching 1 million Pièces d’air. This quest is hella broken.

Just got it in Azsuna at 58,68. Pickpocket drop from the Blacksail guys standing around. Been through here 3 times over the last couple of days. I have about 64K in coins of air.This was the last item I needed in the quest.

The percentage rate for successful looting of Chaîne de mana clinquante from Esclave runomancien inside Falaises de l’embouchure de Hel is exceptionally high even though the number of mobs looted was low (8 out of 24 at 33.33% repeating, of course, at the time of writing this comment). So I wandered into heroic Falaises de l’embouchure de Hel and, sure enough, I looted a Chaîne de mana clinquante from the first Esclave runomancien I encountered. This is after unsuccessfully picking the pockets of roughly 2,000 mobs in Legion from other various sources suggested. Remember not to kill Ymiron, le roi déchu if you plan on doing this in heroic and resetting because once you do the mobs will be gone for the day along with the boss. And on mythic, they'll be gone for the week.

Just looted from a Runecarver Slave in Mythic Maw of Souls. I had to reset the instance three times before I got a drop, but it was still faster than any other mob that I've farmed for this.
