New feast was added in 7.3 created via Festin des poissons which (currently) uses:
Talang maudit
Perche moussebranchie
Saumon de Haut-Roc
Raie-tempête
Koï runécaille
Barracuda noir
Those materials may be changed before the patch goes live.
This item has the mysterious effect "If you spend at least 10 seconds eating you will obtain all of the powers of a fish."

Maybe this is the possible benefit Bien nourri. It's a new well fed buff added on patch 7.3.

The effect of this food is indeed Bien nourri. It transforms you into what looks like a Runescale Koi. If you use it on land, you can only flop around slowly, and start to lose health after a short time. In water, you swim around at the increased swim speed.

A fun thing to note: at least for now, you can heal yourself without breaking the form. A healer can easily flop around town, or over hill and dale, for the five minutes. ;)

The buff from this food reads:

Take 2% damage every 1 sec. while out of water.

Bacon croustillant does extend the buff by one hour. And you can fight (even in druid forms) without losing the buff. So instead of just trolling people in LFR, you can use this item to do underwater stuff without worrying about breath or it taking forever to swim everywhere. Mounts and flight form won't work out of the water.

This may be possibly of use for one of the in-game secrets (like the Lucid mount), or possibly the Hidden Artifact appearance for the Fishing Rod. (Secrets discord still not found a use for it yet as of 12 Oct 17). It's unlikely to be for the "unknown secret" from patch 7.0 as this was only recently introduced.

As of 10.2.5, this food no longer seems to work properly. I used it to do the long swims for the Baa'l pet secret questline, and when you eat it, it turns you into a fish but you can't move and it slowly kills you 2% at a time. If you try to use it while in the water, it says you can't use it while swimming. I tried to sit in shallow water and eat, which I could do, but then it still treated me like I was on land and slowly killed me, even though my head was under water. So you can't use it while swimming, and if you use it on land, you can't move to get to water. Useless.
