I love the sound effect and visual of this trinket's on-use effect. The AoE damage is also quite useful while leveling. I kind of wish it was relevant for longer, so I could drop elekk plushies on people in PvP.

I got a 360 ilvl version of this from a WQ and am still using it. The split damage can crit, in a pack of 6 mobs 2 got crit for ~6600 vs ~3300 for the other 4. I wish Bloodmallet or other guides included more of these "quest" trinkets in their rankings since you can get higher ilvl versions from WQs. I feel it has to be better than a lot of other WQ trinkets at same ilvl, but can't find much data on it.

With the nerf to Gladiator's Maledict, this is a pretty decent alternative trinket for early in this PvP season. Although almost any PvE trinket (and arguably, most PvP ones too) would be better, Trunksy provides a hefty chunk of damage every 2 minutes off the GCD. If you are behind on essences, pairing this with the damage of a fully-charged Concentrated Flame is a ton of instant burst damage.

It's not going to add up to be an enormous amount of damage over the course of a match, but during burst windows this is an excellent trinket to use to help secure a killing blow. I highly recommend picking up Trunksy while its WQ is up if you can get it at around 390 iLevel.

Again, don't expect him to work miracles, but especially for fresh alts looking to kick off the PvP season, Trunksy is excellent.

I've leveled to 120 and am picking up item lvl 415-420 Emissary quests. Looted Trunksy as a level 415 trinket and he is slamming mobs for 49,501 nature damage with crits at 99,002. It is out powering the heart of Azeroth "Reaping Flames" spell.

So, my advice is to hold back on doing the Tea Party quest, wait to you lvl up to 120 and hold onto this trinket.
