How to get Serpent de sang de Nazjatar

Collect 20x Fragment abyssal (world drop, but can be traded and found on the AH)
Clicking the Fragment abyssal takes off about 5k hp after it's used, and creates Essence des abysses abjecte, can only be used at the Altar of the Abyss, which is in Stormsong Valley at 73.50, 23.61 behind a waterfall. At the back of the cave you'll find the altar.
Essence des abysses abjecte specifies Offrir l’essence abjecte "Make offering to the Abyssal Flame.
The Abyssal flame is in the mine in Stormsong at Warfang hold at 58.88, 55. Inside the cave you will see a little statue
Warning given: <You feel a crippling fear, making the offering without a group of powerful allies would be unwise>
Go there and summon Adhérent des abysses

When summoned Adhérent des abysses will shout:
Adherent of the Abyss says: ZUQ THYZZ Zuq ag'xig qwor ni ak'agthshi oou kla'kar zuq nuq n'zoth shfk
Adherent of the Abyss says: I zz AGTH I plahf zuq yrr nuq ywaq on'ma lwhuk zaix za sk'woth'gl uhnish

Adhérent des abysses drops Éther abyssal & Serpent de sang de Nazjatar Mount will only drop for the summoner, Aether will drop for all party members (works in raid)
After you used the Aether you can't get it again (quest marker 53477)

Unsolved secret: What does Éther abyssal do?
The use effect will cast a purple explosion animation around your character and knock you down. You character will stand up again.
When you check the spell effect for the "on use" Absorbe, it comes up with: Effect Complete Quest (53477)
Possible trigger for later event.

Just finally got around to collecting all the fragments and did this fight today. The Éther abyssal can be used and allows you to resummon Adhérent des abysses via a small "Abyssal Tear" hovering in front of the Abyssal Icon. Soloed so am unsure if other players are able to loot this item if they helped defeat the boss to get their own mount. I did confirm that the boss is resummoned and will drop a second mount upon killing it again. Note, the mount is unique and soulbound so it's still impossible to sell unless you held on to the Éther abyssal and used it at a later date for a friend etc to resummon.

As of SL prepatch 9.0.1, you get the error message Out of Range when trying to use the Abhorrent Essence of the Abyss, no matter if you're right against or on top of the altar.
