Did the world quest (that awarded this item; WQ in particular was "Make Loh Go") and received Charme des mers rohart ancien which looks like it pulls from a pool of new rings/trinkets added in 8.1, possibly 8.0 but would need more testing.

Sadly this chest does not honor Loot Spec. I received an Intellect trinket (a titanforged/leech one ofc) while in Feral Loot spec. The loot window even had the Feral icon on it, to indicate what loot spec it was being generated for.

9 times out of 10, I get the charge stone, I'm not even being hyperbolic either, not sure if it has something to do with my class/spec (BM hunter) but always with out a doubt i'm getting that worthless trinket

These seem to favor more ring drops than trinkets, sadly, as currently in 8.3 we can have easy 445 rings (already the max ilvl these chest can drop) off from each new WBosses.

Edit: was 445 RINGS from 8.3 WB, not trinkets as I had posted previously.

So tired of the rampant RNG in this game...

Here you get a chest where the RNG decides if it's going to be a trinket or a ring. Then the RNG decides which trinket or which ring.

Why not have a separate chest for trinkets and one for rings, cut out some of the stupidity.

Finally after only gold and war resources as reward for some time in EU, we got this as a reward. Hoping for a trinket and guess what i got a ring for the zillion time. Hate RNG.
