One of the six gems given by the Crowns looted from the Opulence encounter in Bataille de Dazar’alor.

In order to obtain one of them, you must use the effect from one of the crowns. The gems last 20 hours, with a 20-hour shared cooldown among all crowns. Using the crown gives the player one of six different gems:

Ambre du couchant - Reduces a party member's size by 50% for 5 min. (30 Sec Cooldown).
Topaze étoilée - Make a friendly player sparkle! (30 Sec Cooldown)
Tourmaline crépitante - Increases your Speed by 120 for 1 hour. (1 Min Cooldown)
Émeraude de vigueur - Restores 33251 health. (1 Min Cooldown) - Cooldown shared with healing potions.
Diamant de subsistance - Draw sustenance from the gem, restoring 166257 health and 83129 mana over 20 sec. If you spend at least 10 sec focusing on the gem, you will become well fed, gaining 75 in a stat for 1 hour.
Saphir d’illumination - Increases all stats by 400 for 1 min. (5 Min Cooldown). Shares 1min CD with other combat potions.

This is just too strong for Jewelcrafting not being able to craft it. Blizzard making better gems for an item than the Jewelcrafting profession...

Fyi, if you're a healer, using this gem will negate your mana pots in a boss fight, just like any other potion.

Where it's perfectly possible to make a macro for the Emerald as it shares the cooldown (both combat and time) with the healing potion, it's a bit harder for the Sapphire as it includes usage outside of combat (prepull). Replace *battle potion* with whatever regular potion you use, as you can't add 'pick whatever is available' in a castsequence.

To use the Sapphire as prepot:
/castsequence reset=300 Sapphire of Brilliance, *battle potion*
or to use the Sapphire as combat potion:
/castsequence *battle potion*, Sapphire of Brilliance
These macros are not necessary flawless so use at your own discretion:

Only replace your potion keybind with one of these macros if you have the Sapphire.
The prepot macro resets when there is at least five minutes between wipes or the second potion is used.
Without the possibility of a reset condition the battle pot macro forces the order.

Does this still come out of the opulence helmet use-effects? I haven't seen it in quite a while (although I haven't used it on cooldown with the characters I have one on).
