C'est un poisson qui peut être attrapé dans n'importe quelle zone.
Le plus important étant donc de se poster sur une zone plane pour voir toutes les apparitions des bulles.

Rendez-vous en Nagrand (Outreterre) en 46.49, 58.69 , sur l'ile flottante, et placez vous au bord.

This fish is related to part 2 of the secret fish achievement series, Les poissons secrets fantastiques.
To start this you'll need to complete part 1.

The goggles:
With the Lunettes à poissons secrets buff applied a small fish in a bubble will spawn somewhere within 40 yards of you. If you have sound on you'll hear bubbles when it spawns then 5-10 seconds later the fish will become visible at which point you'll be able to click it. The fish can be clicked while mounted, you do not need to be in water for it to spawn and it will spawn every 25-30 seconds.

Best way to do this is find a spot that is flat and with few surrounding objects (trees, rocks, etc) and just spin your camera around until you see the bubble.

The Fish!
Each time you click the puffer you'll be given a random fish, most of the time it will be the white "junk" fish for whichever area you're in as well as the occasional grey item, with the exception of Dalaran where you'll commonly get coins usually caught from the eventide fountains.

Catchrate is quite low for many of these so expect to spend a fair amount of time for this.

I've split the fish into different catergories.

The common:
These fish can be caught anywhere at any time of the day, save these lot for last as you'll probably get most if not all of them hunting the others.

If you're still missing these after you catch the others, the best places to catch these are on the floating islands, like the ones scattered around Outland Nagrand (45.9, 59.9). The zone exclusive:
These fish can only be caught in specific zones and sometimes even in very specific areas within zones.
9. Morue de sang vicié - Nazmir, Zul'Nazman.
10. Poisson-histoire de jade - Jade Forest.
11. Flet tempétueux - Isle of Thunder.
12. Poisson-clown du Kirin Tor - Dalaran (Broken Isles/Northrend).
13. Maquereau mécanique - Mechagon.
14. Délice de la reine - Nazjatar.
15. Aileron de mana ancestral - Suramar. Anywhere in the Suramar city harbour. (Credit to Roguezs).
16. Poisson-prisonnier - Tol Barad (PvP area). Anywhere in the zone, the bridge that connects the two islands is a great place for this one, just make sure you're on the PvP area side of it (check minimap).
17. Aileron des fjords barbelé - Howling Fjord.
18. Gangrarête morte - Argus, Krokuun and Antoran Wastes. (Credit to Padwarle and Neryssa).
19. Aquacole tortollane - Drustvar, under Anyport in the underwater Tortollan bar called 'The Drunk Tank'.
20. Flet insaisissable - Neverest Pinnacle, Kun-Lai Summit. (Credit to Qaccy and Pungyo).
21. Rôdeur des puits - Mount Hyjal, in the lake under Nordassil.
22. Poisson rouge noyé - Drowned Lands (46, 50) in Stormsong Valley. (Credit to Bobins666).
Note: With the exception of the Tank Deweller (Fish 19), these are confirmed locations and may not be the only location within the zones where they can be caught. For the Tortollan Tank Deweller, I was only able to catch it once I was in the very specific sub-zone (where the name changes above the minimap).

For those suffering from woeful luck with the rarer fish, like the Flet insaisissable, this was discovered by Asmundr.

To everyone who is having trouble looting some fish. You need to approach the places like Neverest and Nordrassil on foot without a flying mount (There is a small path just before the Neverest peak) Then the 100% dropchance Fishes don't bug out and are lootable once more (Thin Air Flounder and Well Lurker) Alternatively just use the goggles when standing at those places when they are off CD.

If you're still having issues, clearing your bags of all secret fish (vendor or delete them) may also fix it.

The time scheduled:
These fish can only be caught within certain times, while one is active, the other is not. Whichever fish is active at the time can be caught in any zone.
23. Poisson-lune insaisissable - Night only. 9:30pm to 8am.
24. Héliophile doré - Day only. 8am to 9:30pm.
Note: We're not sure on the specific day/night switch over time, the above is just based on the times we've been catching them. If you catch these outside of the posted times let me know. Make sure its server time, not your local time.

The dead:
These fish can only be caught while the player is dead. Once you're a ghost these fish can be caught in any zone. (Credit to FenixInfinito).

28. Saumon spirituel
Best place to catch these on any floating island, like the one directly behind the southern bank of Broken Isles Dalaran. Suicide by flying up and dismounting. The buffed:
29. Hoplostèthe vert - Requires the Peint en vert buff from the Mechagon mechanocat painting station (63, 42). This can be applied by walking over the green puddle on the station or having another player throw a Poche remplie de peinture verte at you. (Credit to Sishrot).

The sporadic:
30. Aileron-de-ferraille exilé - Can be caught in the "future" version of Mechagon that Chromie sends you to for the quest Dimension parallèle. Unfortunately this daily is only available sporadically. (Credit to Lacrit).

Other than for the Displaced Scapfin that you can only get when Chromie is up in Mechagon, the Unseen Mimmic was the longest one for me to obtain. I tried one comment about Borean Tundra, the floating islands in Nagrand.. Never got one there, or in any of the other areas I fished. I decided to try Pandaria because of the Mimmic Octopus that you can fish up as part of the Nat Dailies. Specifically went to Krasarang Cove Coords 82 24 and that is where I looted this fish within minutes.

Edit: ProdromusHarv - you have a valid point.. but after searching for over a couple of days I never found this common fish.. anywhere, I found the specific area ones easier.. I simply posted what worked for me, and where I found it after trying everything else in that wonderful post below by Kiingy. Good luck.

Clearly a Pandaria fish. I just got mine in the Mogu'shan Vaults. Only my third secret fish in there (and the second one was a Poisson-chat anodin).

My LFR group was wiping on the first boss of CoS, but some tryhards weren't willing to admit it was a wipe. So I decided to go for an underwater swim in the moat and found the Unseen Mimmic.

The Unseen Mimmic was the last fish I was able to find. I looked all over Pandaria and on the floating islands as mentioned (catching all of the fish took about 4 days because I had to wait for Chromie to come up in Mechagon). I finally found it inside the Heart of Fear instance before fighting Grand Empress Shek'zeer.

As i am writing this i am getting frustrated. I tried all tips above. Nagrand isle, dalaran and Jade forest to get 2 fish at a time. I just need this damn unseen mimmic, wich stating its name is very unseen! Since emptying my bags and just needing this mimmic to complete my achieve i have 10 jade Story fish, 2 tiny whales, 4 sunsoakers, 6 gobys, 6 deceptive maws, 5 snarks, 5 collectebles, 2 moonfish and a damned catfish. Where is my mimmic :(

I got it accidentally by fishing in the hyper-compressed ocean toy. Had no idea what it was. If you have a friend or guildie with this, ask them to put it out for you and fish away.

Just adding my experience trying to find this fish.I found all the other fish and never got one of these. I followed the advice of several other posters and went to Krasarang Cove. Tried for 10 minutes with no luck. On a whim, as I saw a bubble appear, I activated spectral sight (a Demon Hunter ability), clicked the bubble, and the Imitateur invisible popped. Probably just a coincidence, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.

After trying many places in Pandaria, including Krasarang Cove, I decided to try something different. It appears that a lot of people have reported finding some of the rares while working on current content. So I decided to work on the quest for the rank 4 Concentrated Flame Essence, where you meet Kalecgos at the top of the Nexxus. I tried clicking on a few bubbles at the Transitus Shield Landing but only got Frenzied Fangtooth, which by the way, I am now taking as a hint that I'm not in the right location. So I flew to the top of the Nexxus, clicked on the first bubble I saw, and Boom....Unseen Mimic. Good Luck All 😉

I think the drop rate of this fish increases when you are in an instance. That's the only think that made sense in my experience and from summarising everyones feedback.

I think I'll agree on haleykins86 on this one. Last one, tried Nagrand isles, Krasarand, EVERYWHERE but.. instances.

So I went, like him, to the Heart of Fear, and on the room of the second boss, on a bubble that spawned in the middle, bam, this bugger comes from it.

Found the Unseen Mimmic and a LOT of other rare fish at Krasarang Wilds in Pandaria, 77.38, 27.87

This is a very good and quiet place at the beach. Easy to spot the sphere.

It just cannot be a coincidence finding this fish 7 minutes after joining the proving grounds when I spent months on and off trying to find it prior.

EDIT: No really, it cannot be a coincidence, I just got another and the last one I was after like 9 minutes later in proving grounds.

Sha of Anger in Kun-Lai Summit /way 54.88, 66.24.

This dmn fish was the last one to find. I tried every option people posted from doing instances, different zones, to the Proving Grounds. For days tried different ones. When I was waiting for Sha to spawn this popped after only 6 minutes of waiting. So I fished in my Hyper-compressed Ocean until Sha spawned. Sooo glad to be done with this.

I was down to this last fish and followed the comments below about trying Krasarang Cove. While I didn't have any luck in the cove I did stumble across this island in Krasarang Wilds located at 56.41, 51.72 that turned out to be a perfect spot for all of the non-zone specific fish. There's a small hill with one big palm tree and an NPC named "Cousin Brackendeep" who has a little camp set up on the south side of the island. If you stand on the largest hill just behind the NPC's camp, there are only 4 spawn locations and they all correspond to the cardinal directions (North, South, East, West). I was out here for about three hours and caught every non-zone specific fish, including the Unseen Mimic. Just get on your flying mount, stand on the hill, face South, listen for the bubble, wait ~7 seconds, and check every direction N/S/E/W. Three hours, never missed a bubble, extremely easy to see, nothing ever spawned in a weird place that was hard to see or in the water, and with the game music off the only sounds you hear are literally pleasant beach/ocean noises. If you're looking for the non-zone specific fish, this is a great spot to kick back and knock them out.

When you speak to Pyjam Mimic in the Shadowlands he says:

I once caught an undiscovered species of fish. I named it after myself. Nobody else saw the fish, so they didn't believe me.

He is very likely referring to this fish.
I wonder if he gains an interaction if you speak to him with one in your inventory....

I got mine yesterday near the spawn point of the Porteguerre zandalari in Krasarang Wilds. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

And then... the next day got it again within 10 minutes of hunting my last fish on the floating islands in TBC Nagrand. I had spent an hour or two camping there on other days. *facepalm*

Wasn't having luck at 82, 24 (or various floating islands), but thought I'd give a try near the Pieuvre caméléon endpoint with Nat Pagle. I found a little sand island at 68, 38 surrounded by water shallow enough the fish bubbles can't submerge. Collected two Unseen Mimmic in a row as my 2nd and 3rd bubbles.

If you're in Pandaria trying to loot it from locations mentioned here and some bubbles are unclickable, delete the Tortollan Tank Dweller from your bags

Unseen Mimmic was the last fish I needed. It took quite some time but finally, I gave up on Turtle Beach as I was so sick of it and went to camp world bosses to kill two birds with one stone. I looted it while waiting for Galleon in Valley of the Four Winds. The area where Galleon spawns is very clear on low population server and the higher contrast helps seeing the bubbles more effortlessly than on the beach. After looting the mimmic, popping the achievement and right-clicking the goggles to remove the buff, I spotted one last bubble floating on the ground and I looted it. I kid you not, it was a second mimmic floating there... Wish you all luck and perseverance!

Inside the circular room of Temple of White Tiger (Kun-Lai Summit 68.5 43.6) First 6 bubbles, Unseen Mimmic, Camouflaged Snark and Deceptive Maw. Maybe not so rare afterall.

This was the last fish I needed. I tried farming for it in Org and picked up 3 Moonfish, 2 Sunfish and 3 Traveling Gobys.

Pop over to Pandaria and picked it up about 20 mins. That place must simply be magical.

I was stuck with only Unseen Mimic left for months. I just ran a heroic 25-man Mogu'shan Vaults to farm mount drop... put on my googles and first two fish were Unseen Mimics! Give that a shot and see if it works out for you. GL!

I got this one in the final boss room of The Underrot in Mythic mode. Wasn't trying for it -- the bubble just appeared while doing the fight so I picked it up and got the mimmic. Also caught the Deceptive Maw, Invisible Smelt, Camouflaged Snark (x 3), and Golden Sunsoaker (x 2) there all in the span of 60 minutes. This room is turning out to be a great place to fish -- especially once the fight is done. After 20 minutes, though, the drop rate diminishes.
