Avec les lunettes à poissons secrets et en fantôme ça ma pris environ 1h30 pour avoir les 4 poissons disponible dans la zone:

- Fantôme Voiée
- Wally Oeil-Mort
- Flotteur discret
- Saumon spirituel

Je suis resté dans la zone ''La Pile''.
Trouver une bulle et peu après une autre bulle apparait, mais il faut un peu tourner pour la trouver toujours en restant dans la zone de la ''Pile''.

You don't need to be in a specific zone. Just loot them while you are a ghost after dying. (You need to have the goggles active before dyng)

This fish is related to part 2 of the secret fish achievement series, Les poissons secrets fantastiques.
To start this you'll need to complete part 1.

The goggles:
With the Lunettes à poissons secrets buff applied a small fish in a bubble will spawn somewhere within 40 yards of you. If you have sound on you'll hear bubbles when it spawns then 5-10 seconds later the fish will become visible at which point you'll be able to click it. The fish can be clicked while mounted, you do not need to be in water for it to spawn and it will spawn every 25-30 seconds.

Best way to do this is find a spot that is flat and with few surrounding objects (trees, rocks, etc) and just spin your camera around until you see the bubble.

The Fish!
Each time you click the puffer you'll be given a random fish, most of the time it will be the white "junk" fish for whichever area you're in as well as the occasional grey item, with the exception of Dalaran where you'll commonly get coins usually caught from the eventide fountains.

Catchrate is quite low for many of these so expect to spend a fair amount of time for this.

I've split the fish into different catergories.

The common:
These fish can be caught anywhere at any time of the day, save these lot for last as you'll probably get most if not all of them hunting the others.

3. Poisson-chat anodin
4. Imitateur invisible
5. Baleine minuscule
6. Aileron salé de collection
7. Gobie voyageur
8. Éperlan invisible
If you're still missing these after you catch the others, the best places to catch these are on the floating islands, like the ones scattered around Outland Nagrand (45.9, 59.9). The zone exclusive:
These fish can only be caught in specific zones and sometimes even in very specific areas within zones.
9. Morue de sang vicié - Nazmir, Zul'Nazman.
10. Poisson-histoire de jade - Jade Forest.
11. Flet tempétueux - Isle of Thunder.
12. Poisson-clown du Kirin Tor - Dalaran (Broken Isles/Northrend).
13. Maquereau mécanique - Mechagon.
14. Délice de la reine - Nazjatar.
15. Aileron de mana ancestral - Suramar. Anywhere in the Suramar city harbour. (Credit to Roguezs).
16. Poisson-prisonnier - Tol Barad (PvP area). Anywhere in the zone, the bridge that connects the two islands is a great place for this one, just make sure you're on the PvP area side of it (check minimap).
17. Aileron des fjords barbelé - Howling Fjord.
18. Gangrarête morte - Argus, Krokuun and Antoran Wastes. (Credit to Padwarle and Neryssa).
19. Aquacole tortollane - Drustvar, under Anyport in the underwater Tortollan bar called 'The Drunk Tank'.
20. Flet insaisissable - Neverest Pinnacle, Kun-Lai Summit. (Credit to Qaccy and Pungyo).
21. Rôdeur des puits - Mount Hyjal, in the lake under Nordassil.
22. Poisson rouge noyé - Drowned Lands (46, 50) in Stormsong Valley. (Credit to Bobins666).
Note: With the exception of the Tank Deweller (Fish 19), these are confirmed locations and may not be the only location within the zones where they can be caught. For the Tortollan Tank Deweller, I was only able to catch it once I was in the very specific sub-zone (where the name changes above the minimap).

For those suffering from woeful luck with the rarer fish, like the Flet insaisissable, this was discovered by Asmundr.

To everyone who is having trouble looting some fish. You need to approach the places like Neverest and Nordrassil on foot without a flying mount (There is a small path just before the Neverest peak) Then the 100% dropchance Fishes don't bug out and are lootable once more (Thin Air Flounder and Well Lurker) Alternatively just use the goggles when standing at those places when they are off CD.

If you're still having issues, clearing your bags of all secret fish (vendor or delete them) may also fix it.

The time scheduled:
These fish can only be caught within certain times, while one is active, the other is not. Whichever fish is active at the time can be caught in any zone.
23. Poisson-lune insaisissable - Night only. 9:30pm to 8am.
24. Héliophile doré - Day only. 8am to 9:30pm.
Note: We're not sure on the specific day/night switch over time, the above is just based on the times we've been catching them. If you catch these outside of the posted times let me know. Make sure its server time, not your local time.

The dead:
These fish can only be caught while the player is dead. Once you're a ghost these fish can be caught in any zone. (Credit to FenixInfinito).

28. Saumon spirituel
Best place to catch these on any floating island, like the one directly behind the southern bank of Broken Isles Dalaran. Suicide by flying up and dismounting. The buffed:
29. Hoplostèthe vert - Requires the Peint en vert buff from the Mechagon mechanocat painting station (63, 42). This can be applied by walking over the green puddle on the station or having another player throw a Poche remplie de peinture verte at you. (Credit to Sishrot).

The sporadic:
30. Aileron-de-ferraille exilé - Can be caught in the "future" version of Mechagon that Chromie sends you to for the quest Dimension parallèle. Unfortunately this daily is only available sporadically. (Credit to Lacrit).

Don't know about anyone else but I can't get to the island mentioned while dead. I lose dead flying on the way and fall down to the water.

Well, kept trying to avoid a big repair bill from rezzing a GY. Heading to the island from the GY there is a large tower just before you leave dalaran. I found I need to line up with that and head to the pointy bit of the island (almost exactly the northern point of the island) and be as high as possible and I would stay above long enough to regain flight over the island.

I got all mine just standing at the edge of the Dalran beside Margoss' island. bit more ground clutter but not that bad.

A good place to farm the Wally œil-mort, Flotteur discret, Saumon spirituel and Fantôme voilé, which only appear when you're dead, or in fact any of the "world" fish is the floating island South of Dalaran, at 45.67 67.93. Unlike Margos' island this one is free of clutter.

Before flying up and then dismounting, put your armour and weapons in your bags so they don't suffer damage when you plummet to your death. When returning as a ghost, fly high and aim for the closest point of the island.

Note that you'll collect coins which count towards the coin fishing achievments, throwing a gold coin into the fountain in Dalaran gives you a two minute buff that increases the chance of getting further coins.

If anyone is having issues seeing the white bubbles against white-ish background while dead, this command removes the gray ghost effect and makes your screen look almost normal while dead:

/console ffxDeath 0

To enable it again, do the same but with "1" instead of "0".

If you intend to use the floating island trick to spawn fish while dead, do *not* use the ones in Outland Nagrand.
In Outland Nagrand, flying is not enabled while you are dead. And while the fish still spawn and there are plenty of wide open areas to hunt, you'll be forced to res at the graveyard rather than your corpse. An expensive and time-consuming way to go!

My progress getting Saumon spirituel:
Can only be caught while the player is dead. Once you're a ghost these fish can be caught in any zone.

Don't know if this is the rarest of the ghost fish or I was extremely unlucky, but by the time I finally caught this sucker I had about 7 of the other 3 ghost fishes...

Unlike some of the other rare secret fish, it might be that the "dead fish" are better caught by keeping those you already found in inventory. I deleted Flotteur discret from my inventory five times, always directly after catching it. None of the other appeared for me. After starting to keep Flotteur discret in my bag, the next two spawns provided me Saumon spirituel and Wally œil-mort. Of course, that might have been just my type of luck and any speculations superstitious nonsense; but I leave the interpretation to you.

PS: Both Flotteur discret and Wally œil-mort stack, I had 5 and 3 respectively after I finally got Saumon spirituel.

I have looted two so far from bubbles in Bastion, while alive. All other catches have been Floundering Souls.

I found a great spot in (where you've got 3 other fish to catch, and pick up the goggles) and caught all 4 "dead fish". Get yourself killed at 40, 40 and you'll spawn at the Graveyard at 49, 52 then head north to Rock at 46:38. Catch your fish and you're already on your way to your body.

I farmed all the "dead" fish in Ardenweald. I went up to the Winter Queen's Chambers in The Heart of the Forest and stood on her platform with her, facing out. This caused all the bubbles to spawn in an arc around the front of the room. Easy to spot, easy to grab especially using flicker in soulshape! Just grab the fish, then flicker back to her platform and wait for the next spawn.

Beware! Be sure your Lunettes à poissons secrets are activated and you have at least 20 minutes of time remaining before you begin fishing while dead. You can't turn your goggles on once you are dead.

Die on the spot where you want to fish. This puts a tombstone marker on the spot - it's easy to get disoriented in the gray corpse world. How? Fly high, then click on your mount icon to dismiss it.

Avoid light areas, like the sand beaches in Krarasang Wilds. You want the globe containing the Poisson secret to be the only thing that is bright white.

You can walk on water while dead, so you can fish Poisson secret orbs on water (which will be dark). You can flatten the water by turning down your graphic setting.

If you have flying in a zone, your spirit will automatically fly on a spectral mount. You can't dismount, so it's a good thing you can fish Poisson secret while mounted.

Since it's boring to wait in a gray world, I rode in circles instead of swiveling the camera. The Poisson secret orbs spawned along the circuit.

Save repair bills by putting weapons and armor that will have to be repaired in your inventory before you "die" - but you knew that.

I got one in Maldraxus while being alive. But since you are thematically in the afterlife within the Shadowlands I guess it is fitting that you would be able to get this.

I have no idea if you can get the other "dead" fish as well - but I would assume. The Dalaran spot worked fine for me for those though.

found ALL of the rare fish at the platform behind dalaran /way 45.68 67.65
the salmon took me almost 30 min. Usually i LOVE salmon, but i truely hate this one! Got so happy everytime i saw a rare fish pop up, until it was the same ones, over and over again :P
