Disappointed how this and its rare quality counterpart have almost no use other than for the rings and staves. It would have made more sense to give it a base cut of 7-8% experience increase to make it akin to its uncommon gem color (which was 5% experience increase, and while 10% would be terrific, it might be kicking too high).

The prospect rate on these is insanely low, orange/yellow/blue/purple are 5-8x more common.

Bought about 4000+ osmenite off the AH, mass prospected, ended up with 19 of these, need 35 to create the BOP ring (Leviathan's Eye Loop) at the Restored Abyssal Focus (which by the way I spent 75 manapearls to get). Can't even make one ring. Can't make it, even if I could I can't sell any, so seriously what is the point anymore? I give up, you win Blizz, you have made doing professions zero fun anymore, they use to be fun.
