I wonder if these recipe drops have an internal cooldown. It seemed easy to get two of the rank 3 recipes by just casually killing the naga during a couple days' worth of dailies. But farming the naga for over an hour; including especially the elites; on the same day after I previously got a Strength rank 3; produced no results.

Went farming next day, rank 3 Intellect dropped from the second elite mob (Zanj'ir Defender). Continued killing elites for 10 more minutes in case I might get rank 3 Stamina - no further drops during that time.

So i took some time to farm these recipes.

There is no internal cooldown on recipe drops. It can drop even if you are skill 1.

Edit: i did not write down where i farmed. Sorry about that, not posting here too much.
I farmed around the Deepsea Slave Pens(coord 40.0 40.0). There is usually a quest to kill 15 naga.

I chose to look for other locations to farm naga because there are a lot of creatures that can not drop the recipe in the Slave Pens. Also with warmode on and the Slay 15 Naga quest nearby it seemed to draw a lot of competition/alliance to kill me. Also some of the naga would just keep throwing spears over and over again and were difficult to maneuver. I gathered from WoWhead that only humanoids can drop the Superior recipes.

Shirakess Repository 60.37 12.87
There are a lot of naga right in the center of this room, and plenty of naga if you follow the path west. If the boss is up she summons a bunch of naga guards which makes it easy to get a big group of them. Be careful of the shadow thing they throw on the ground.

Imperial Gardens 53.90 23.42
There about 20-25 naga in this area that are pretty easy to gather up in groups of 6-8. The Brutes also have a chance to drop the recipe.

I bounced between the two places for re spawn times. I spent about two hours of farming. One hour I spent wholeheartedly and the next hour I kind of half-assed farming while I was messing around on my second monitor. I currently have 4/5 recipes.

Edit: 9 Minutes after posting I got the last of the recipes I needed.
