As it stands these will be the first choke point for legendary precursor items to start flowing for plate armor. Enchanters should expect to make quite a bit off this recipe if they snag it early.

This seems just absurdly out of balance in regards of legendary crafting. Other professions and their required crafting materials for the legendary base-items aren't locked behind reputation. All you need is to level up specific professions to be able to make all the mats yourself, but for some reason Blacksmithing and platewearers get the shaft, and to be able to make these bars for the legendary base-items you have to go through hours and hours of reputation farming just to get a formula for enchanting and then you're able to make the bars. Unreasonable %^&*, I say. Maybe lock it behind some other reputation that comes via questing or possibly lower the required reputation to friendly/honored, even that would be a step towards the better.

Please let Blizzard know that this doesn't really make any sense.

This is stupid, the plate legendaries need a minimum of 3 professions (mining, blacksmithing, and enchanting) or if you go the other route 4 (herbalism, alchemy, mining, and enchanting)

On Emerald Dream, the legendary gear sells for far below what the Elethium Bars alone cost. Enchanters are rolling in it right now. Pauldrons sell for ~17k. The bars needed to make them cost me ~22.5k
