This item is used to unlock Reliquaire amathet, such as the Reliquary at 67.4 42.9

I'm pretty sure this is only available when the eastern side of the map has the purple border around it. You will have to wait until that happens to find and open the chest you need. Same goes for the others like this. If that was obvious I apologize, but I wasn't aware until recently.
