ok got one today, but didnt, unless Rathion took it imediatly cause nothing in bags - but it says I got 1 :))
so apparently u dont see it but when u get back to the Heart hes there for a quest turn in which gives u a Corrupting Core and a new quest line!

The map is a bit misleading. Kill corrupted-Thrall, which ends the vision. The book is in the reward chest when it warps you out of Orgrimmar.

You have to be on or have completed Les vestiges d’un monde brisé.

Since it requires gated currency, it is maddening to have been able to spend the currency without being able to obtain the upgrade.

I normally have problems with too many quests and I thought Les vestiges d’un monde brisé was a quest to go find stuff in the nightmare (which people heavily recommend against for the first few times). So I didn't take the quest.

You have to have this quest in your log or finished!

This doesn't appear to drop off Alleria. So if you ended up starting this whole Horrific Visions grind the week after patch launched. You unfortunately have to wait until Orgrimmar is back up again to even get your first rank up!
