L'obtention du Gobeur arboricole est relativement rapide. Préparez-vous à vous rendre à Sylvarden et suivez les étapes indiquées ci-dessous afin d'obtenir cette nouvelle monture de Shadowlands.

Pour commencer, vous devrez obtenir un Champignon anormalement grand sur les monstres présents à Sylvarden. Celui-ci possède un faible pourcentage d'apparition et vous demandera donc une durée variable. Une fois obtenu, vous aurez ensuite 20 minutes afin de terminer l'étape suivante.

Rendez-vous à l'ouest du Palun Chanterêve (loc 32.44, 30.27) et cliquez sur le Terreau humide. Le champignon grandira et deviendra Gargan'tuzz, qui vous offrira la monture lors de sa mort.

Si le terreau humide n'est pas présent, patientez quelques minutes. L'élite possède énormément de PV, mais ne tape pas très fort.

Note that at L60, Humon'gozz has roughly 560k health - and is a L62r+ mob - so you won't want to summon him solo for a while after Shadowlands launch...

Champignon anormalement grand is related to the Gargan'tuzz rare in the Sylvarden zone.

How to use:

Loot Champignon anormalement grand. It can drop from any mob in the Ardenweald.
I got most of my mushrooms from regular mobs and other rares.
So the best way to farm it is to follow your regular routine in the zone.
No specific place, it's really random.

When you get the Mushroom you have 20 minutes to get to the Humon'gozz spawn location.
Go to the Terreau humide and click on the Loam
It is in the same spot where Humon'gozz spawns: 32.42 30.26
After some time the mushroom grows into a rare mob
Kill it and loot the reward

Everyone can participate in a kill, so you don't need to loot the Champignon anormalement grand.
Can find someone with mushroom and kill the rare together.
The rare has large HP pool, but weak damage.

Rare is a part of Aventurier de Sylvarden achievement.

Just obtained this mount as described by Varenne. Elite was easy to duo as druid and hunter.

Both received the mount when looting the corpse.

You only have to click the Loam before the timer expires, not kill the boss. Every person in the group gets the mount, not just the user. The loam respawns after about 10 minutes, and the boss can drop another mushroom himself, allowing you to chain kill for your friends.

It takes 10 minutes to spawn the mound to replant it. I got lucky and got 4 of the mushrooms today.

Hi all

Small guide How to get Gobeur arboricole in Sylvarden. This mount is 100% drop rate and you need to do 2 steps to get it:

Step 1:

First of all you need to get drop Champignon anormalement grand drop rate is 1-5% i was farming this in Sylvarden 31 38. Can drop fast or after 40 min like i had. You have 20 min to do next step.

Step 2:

Move to 32.5 30. clean area from mobs and press on Terreau humide. The mushroom will grow and finly will come out Gargan'tuzz - You need to kill him and pick up your Gobeur arboricole.
Is good to do this in party or with minimum tank.

As well this Rare is a part of Aventurier de Sylvarden.

To do this Gobeur arboricole take me 50min.

I had one of these Mushrooms drop with a 10 minute duration from the cache from doing 3 world quests in Ardenweald, couldn't find out where to go in time, the loam soil wasn't were I have seen it in videos

For people who can't be bothered with Co'ords and Videos, once u have the Unusually Large Mushroom, head to the North West of the Zone, just North of the 'D' in Dreamsong Fenn. You should see a tear-shaped pool, also on the map, follow that North West again.

You'll see the Damp Loam in front of a shallow cave, clear the area of mobs to give yourself some room to fight. Then click the loam. It will grow slowly, after maybe 20 secs Humon'gozz will spawn.

As a Guardian Druid I was able to solo kill fairly easily, but he/she/it has a fairly large health pool (500k+), so be aware if you're trying to solo, as the trash you cleared will respawn through the fight. He only seemed to have 2 abilities, throwing out Entangling Roots which are easy to avoid and a sort of nova/whirlwind that you can kite.

I switched to the bigger trash mobs when they spawned, as the longer you leave them up the more additional damage you take.

I've gotten this drop 3 times (that I know of) and each time I haven't noticed that I had it until there were only a few minutes left. There either needs to be some kind of on-screen prompt with a timer, or else do away with the 20 minute timer altogether.

This item can erroneously drop in Drustvar, while you're on the night fae campaign quests which take you there.

This item actually dropped for me from a mob in Drustvar while I was completing the Dans la flamme quest (Night Fae covenant questline)... which means it doesn't exclusively drop from mobs IN Ardenweald.

(...though I might have been instanced, which likely makes a difference. I'm not sure though. But it still is important that I wasn't in Ardenweald at all when it dropped.)

Forget it if you are alone and a iLevel 145 casual warlock like me. First you have to plant the mushroom within 10 minutes in a cove on the other side of the country where you have to fight yourself into. To summon a rare with 500+ K health. The mushroom turns into that rare.

Coordinates: /way 32.4 30.3 - Damp Loam

To get the mount Gobeur arboricole you need to defeat Gargan'tuzz, which is also part of the achievement Aventurier de Sylvarden.
The mount has a 100% drop chance. Learnable with level 60.
It is best to quest normally in the Ardenweald or defeat some rare enemies until you get a Champignon anormalement grand. This lasts only 20 minutes and then disappears from your inventory.
Now go northwest from the Dreamsong Fenn, there you will find Terreau humide.
Clear the area around is the best thing to do. Flagellant vorace - Terreur envahissante - Flagellant bourgeonnant
Now click Terreau humide and wait for Gargan'tuzz to appear from the Champignon à croissance rapide.

Had 11 mins after it dropped of a random mob ... didn't clear anything just killed mobs by mound, and waited. up it popped and solo'd it for 10 mins on a ilvl 201 DH tank, Health never dropped below 90% and just mowed down the mobs that came near ... mount dropped now I have a frog lol.

They must have increased the drop rate for this. I was leveling from 50-60 exclusivly by killing and skinning mobs in Ardenweald and never saw it drop once. Today I found 5 in 1.5 hours. Also, during the same time I saw two people announcing in general chat that they will summon Humon'gozz, which I never saw before.

Do I get the mount if: I realized I had it in my bags in a different area with only a couple minutes left and ran in a panic to the dang damp loam right into a swarm of nasty plants that swarmed me, killed me, and then had one second left to plant it when I got back to my corpse and it then timed out just as the planting was starting?

Getting. This. Sucked.
I spent maybe 5 hours today trying to get it to drop. I went to all the spots you see in YT, the spots listed here as having mobs w/ the highest drop rates (even though that's just random stats). I killed enemies non-stop. In fact, I leveled from 59 on the dot all the way to level 60, 320,000XP, and hundreds of enemies killed, and got nothing nut junk. No quests, just mob kill XP. I killed many hundreds. I know it's supposed to be a low drop rate, but that low?

So I hung around where the mount drops from the rare, and tried some kills there for a while, and gave up.
Then I logged back in on a whim, and to my sheer luck, found a Horde guy killing the rare, having already spent his mushroom.

The good news: anyone who does any damage to him can loot the rare and get this mount! I helped the Tauren out, killed the mob, got the mount.

I don't advise leeching people's kills because it won't feel like you earned it as much, but if someone is already there and fighting the (high HP) mob, help them out and snag the mount.

Anybody having a rough time with this? I've spent 6 hours killing hundreds of Fungal Destroyers and Mushroom Manglers and have gotten nothing.

Doing Des chaises confortables and killing Saccageur tombedrust and got 2 Champignon anormalement grand in less than 2 minutes. Same mobs as À l’assaut des Sombres-Confins.

I'm currently at 700 zone kills with 0 drop. After this many hours I think I can reasonably suggest it's easier just to stand at where the boss spawns. Just stand there and wait for someone else to summon it

After two hours of farming I finally get the Champignon anormalement grand, then I went to the summon location and the Terreau humide wasn't there. Someone must have summon the rare before me and the Terreau humide has to respawn, but its respawn time is higher than the duration of the Champignon anormalement grand, so I lost it while cursing Bli$$ard for its good work.

I got the mushroom today. Was able to solo the rare as a lvl 60 boomkin (ilvl 168). I cleared the mobs down to the path first, that way I avoided adds during the (very long) fight.

Thanks a F'ing lot Blizz ...I've had this in my inventory from doing dailies ...no idea what to do with it ... why have quests you have to come to wowhead to find out what to do? ... saw that the timer was less than before .... only 3 mins to go ... had to come to wowhead to look it up ... missed by 30 secs ... phark :(

Blighted Carvers in the North East are 3% drop rate with other 1.5% drop rate in the same area, round them up and kill them

Luckily only took me 10 mins farming to get it again

Blizzard actually trash company, like, why would you make a mount related item a green that you wouldn't think twice about when looted while doing world quest. If it didn't expire it would be fine but it does expire. Legit the employee that made this item a green with expire time and not a purple at the very least should not be working there. Actually #$%^ty about this. If i just had 1 more minute i would've made it and gotten the mount.

If you happened not to see Terreau humide, it probably means someone else has slain him before, and its cool-down for re-spawning is 10 minutes.

I asked an another player, from another realm, to invite you, so you can phase to their realm, where hopefully Terreau humide object is there, ready to use!

My Suggestion: Our Heart Will Go on Daily for the Wild Hunt Reputation. It only took 2 kills of Blighted Carvers to get the Unusually Large Mushroom drops. List a group for Arboreal Gulper. That seems to take 25 minutes total. Happy Hopping.

So I was farming the mushroom near the area where you're supposed to plant it and just couldn't get it to drop. Two hours I spent doing it with the creatures near the northwest part of the map. There's supposed to be a chance from ANY creature map-wide, right? I then looked it up on Wowhead here on which creatures drop it more often and that would be the Possessed Tenders and Possessed Keepers found in the very bottom, mid-south part of the map (roughly 44, 74). So I gave up and went down there. And no word of a lie, the very FIRST group of Keepers and Tenders I aggroed together and burned down (about 5 of them) had the mushroom and I had my mount like 8 minutes later. Take of that what you will. Maybe give it a try if you're having difficulty.

If you're going to solo him, or have a small group, pull him from /way 32.12 29.89. There's a small indent in the rock face there, with very few mobs spawning there. It makes the fight less difficult.

I've been trying to get this for four to five hours I've tried everything I've killed a ton of the ones with the highest drop chance I've tried to go farm the rampers in the south new to high drop chance mobs and still haven't gotten it. I've kill well over 500 and I don't know what to do any more I thinks its just impossible to get the mushroom now but maybe I am just very unlucky if anyone have any tips on how to get it please tell me. But for now I give up on this frog.

I know it's all RNG but if you're farming this rather than waiting for it to drop during normal questing I found farming the various 'drust crazed' mobs down in the south - north of Darkreach (37, 70) sort of area - worked best for me. Most of them supposedly have a 3% drop rate and there's loads in that area. You can keep rounding up a good 8-10 or so repeatedly and they burn down quickly. I was farming up near Dreamsong Fen in the North initially (so as to be closer to the damp loam) but the drop rate for those looks to be much lower, closer to 1% so much slower to drop on average.
