This is part of the Daily Callings system.
And what is this? Is the new way for the Emissaries system it was in BfA.
So every day you will have a new “calling” to complete some task (is not always worldquests as it was in BfA, some are complete world quest, some are kill rares, some are find treasure chests on map, some are dungeoning) and once you complete the task and hand in the calling you will receive something like a box.
What can you find inside those box-alike? Always 2 things: Anima items and Gold (a grey item you can sell for cash), and sometimes a 3rd thing as a gear piece.
The item level of the gear piece will change depending on your renown level, item level, and the general normal raid level available.

Just opened another one of these, so far I've opened about 4 or 5,
So far I've gotten anima once together with some gray gold items, a Conduit once with some gray gold items and the others were just gray gold items about 1200-1600g.

I'm a bit baffled by these. So far, I'm pretty sure I've only won grey items from them. Admittedly grey items worth a bit of gold - so today I had items worth 171g in total - but I can't help feeling a little underwhelmed by them.

Are they supposed to have anima in them? Are they working as intended?

I got a Necroray Egg from this. Dosent even show that it drops from it.

Rarity String for all of the following:

Armored Bonehoof Tauralus - This can be bought from the Necrolord Renown Vendor OR rarely looted from the indariver as I was halfway through the list of mounts and found their comments which helped me finish up the other half of the list. :)

I joined the Necrolord covenant and thought the quest "Into The Reservoir" was bugged because I didn't get the "Tribute of the Ambitious" to click on but you get those from the world quests. So, do not drop your quest!

i've done so many Neroc callings and i've still waiting to get my 3rd egg and rarity isn't show them anymore and im starting to think that blizz removed them from the loot table or something last one i got was before 9.1 launch on my alt shammy

The amount of Grateful Offerings WoWHead says this contains is NOT accurate, at least as of 9.1.5.

I got two from it, and every single other Tribute I opened as well.

As of the latest Patch 10.2.7 Patch Notes, the drop chance for Œuf de nécroraie will be increased.
