In my understanding, Epic chest comes with every 3rd or 4th Covenant Calling.

Open a EPIC color chest Tribute of the Paragon to only get a RARE BLUE item. What a great way to go from OK boys EPIC time to, bah...sell it and junk it.

If you think that because it's purple, there's something good inside, you've got another thing coming.

Green or blue conduit. Junk. Ilvl 148 items (I'm above 148 in every slot). Never any upgrades.

Just got an epic Lyre de dessein sacré ilvl 197 from this. As a Holy Paladin, that was a nice surprise, it's just a shame that both my trinkets have higher ilvl. I have no idea how to raise the item level of the items I get from these, but I think these could be a viable and fun way to occasionally get decent trinkets or even weapons, if only Blizzard would let it.

Contained a level 184 epic polearm, epic 184 conduit, and a bunch of grey items.

Pretty nice.

With Renown lvl29 and World Quest Rewards upgrade, I got a Lvl203 cloak which looks like the upper limit now.

Got a 197 weapon out of the box on a character with a Renown Lvl of only 22.
But an average iLvl of 193 so I guess the rewards are only tied to your iLvl.

So, I thought I had read somewhere on another thread (maybe a different tribute chest) that you won't get duplicate conduits if you have one in your bags, but that is not true. I turned in two callings on the same day, but I didn't go to the forge to add my new conduit before opening the second tribute chest, and got the very same conduit. Can't even vendor it for a copper.

I just looted Grèves de garde-bouclier with an ilvl of 203, and an ilvl 200 Conduit. My current ilvl is 193 and Renown 40.
