check around the areas where mobs spawn for the WQ, and there can still be mobs left over from the last time it was up, i guess depending on how long ago it was. i got mine by clearing the mobs left up on my server (not sure when the WQ was last up, but there were a few), and then hopping to a blanchy waiting group and doing the same. areas where i found mobs are:

/way #1525 56.5, 77.5
/way #1525 56.1, 76.4 on the hill
/way #1525 54.6, 76.5
/way #1525 55.5, 72.8
/way #1525 54.2, 71.0

there might be more, since i assume i was just killing the dregs that were left over from the WQ. (this belief is reinforced by the fact that i was in the area on the same realm/shard/server/whatever for about 2 hours straight, semi-afking and waiting for the vials to respawn, and none of the mobs i killed on my server ever respawned.)

i didn't think to hop for a while, so first i tried forcing amalgamation of filth to spawn. i killed it 5 times with no luck (not sure if it only drops on the first kill, or if i just needed to kill it more times). i also picked up 3 of the discarded vials (which in my experience had a 35- to 50-minute respawn), also no luck.

if you don't like realm-hopping and want to try to "farm" amalgamation of filth instead of waiting for the WQ, you'll want to be a class that can attack from range, so that you can take advantage of Maître-bourbe Putregueule's tanking. i was unable to stand in melee distance of the rare without getting absolutely trucked. i stood by the rubbish box at /way #1525 53.8, 72.3, scooted back as close as i could get, and then spammed the box + extra action button. if you're far enough back, they'll aggro on the little dredgers instead of you, so even if you're a fragile clothie you won't have to kill them one at a time -- i waited until i had 3 - 5 up, then AoEd them down.

it normally takes 1 - 3 minutes of summoning and killing the little Bourbeur violents to get the rare to spawn. standing at max range, i took no damage from the rare. i did wait for the big dredger to run over and start attacking/tanking it, but i'm not sure if that is mandatory; it may not have abilities that can target you from range.

Going on 3 weeks and still haven't seen this WQ for the green muck dye! Hopefully the drop rate isn't too terrible once it finally spawns :)

I picked this up from a Fiole abandonnée at /way 54.28, 74.52 during the world quest Sale boulot : équipe de démolition.

Summoned my Majordome purotin and he had the Teinture bourbeuse verte quest ready for me to turn it in. Onwards and upwards!

Definitely don't need the quest up. I got my drop off of a Lurker hound. These are around all the time, quest or not.

I just clicked on Fiole abandonnée, and all I got was Fiole de bourbe vide. The WQ was not up, and I didn't have my Dredger out.

Wait for when the WQ is up, then go around killing the mobs nearby the area. Dont haft to kill the mobs by the wagons. Dropped after like 20 kills of the hounds.

FYI: you do not need to be Venthyr for this to drop.

Summary: wait for the world quest "Dirty Jobs: Demolition Detail" to be up in Revendreth. Kill the hounds (Lurking Alpha/Bonemauler) and they have a pretty high chance of dropping this item. This is a requirement for the achievement À la mode purotine, which is part of the meta Le héraut des festivités.

From a cosmetic perspective, this allows you to summon your Dredger Butler (Pet Journal), speak to him, and change his clothing to green (one time).

This is highly anecdotal, so take it with a grain of salt, but after farming the wolves for 10-15 minutes without any luck, I picked up the dredger and "tossed" him onto nearby wreckage to spawn the Muckpool humanoid mobs. Got it after my 3rd kill.

Got it from amalgamation of filth rare today, after spawning it twice and world quest was not up.
