Interesting indeed. For all practical purposes these are not implemented (they do exist in-game, but are not sold by any vendors and, contrary to what the "dropped by" says, not a drop either; they are only lootable from Outland chests). That effectively leaves a 15-level gap between Morning Glory Dew (req. 45) and Filtered Draenic Water (60), and by the time you're in the upper 50s, the Morning Glory Dew may only restore a fraction of your mana...

No idea why these aren't available for purchase from vendors. The commonly available Outland food (Smoked Talbuk Venison, Mag'har Grainbread, etc) requires 55 so there is no huge gap in level as there is with the drinks.

http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=12781 will sell you http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32455 for 12s and as little as 1 honor point. This fills up the gap quite well, although it - because of the 'Mod Power Regen' - has a cooldown of 1 minute.

Alternatively, you can pick up some Bottled Alterac Spring Water from vendors in both Alterac Valley and in the Alterac Mountains. It gives you a bit more mana, and it gives you a decent spirit buff. There's no cooldown on it that I can see, either.

Also, it comes fresh from Alterac moutain springs, and not from the tears of woeful stars.

That's always a plus, right?

Is this still in game?

I ask because the chests that used to contain them appear to have been completely replaced by Coffre lié d'argent Silverbound Treasure Chest, which don't seem to contain the nectar.
